Xinrae's Revenge
Whenever you successfully activate a skill, it is disabled for 3 seconds for all members of your party and the opposing party who are in the area and also have it on their skill bars.
- Concise description
Whenever you successfully activate a skill, it is disabled (3 seconds) for all party and opposing party members in the area who have it on their skill bars.
Notes[edit]
- This Flux is in effect every August (UTC−7).
- The user's skill is not disabled.
- This allows Assassins to disable enemy skill chains by using off-hand or dual attacks out of turn.
- Similarly, activating attack skills while blind (or being blocked) could usefully interfere with the enemy's plans while adding little inconvenience to the player.
- This Flux has a pronounced impact on typical linebacking tactics, due to the number of identical frontline builds.
- Party members affected by the Flux will see the skill animation for Blackout/Complicate.
Bug.In Alliance Battles, the same skill on all members of the other two ally parties in the area are also disabled.
Trivia[edit]
- This Flux was in effect during January 3 to 31, 2012 (UTC±0) and June 2013 (UTC−7), and has been in effect every August since 2014 (UTC−7).
- In 2014, this Flux swapped its month (June) with Jack of All Trades (previously the August Flux), so Xinrae's Revenge would not affect the Dragon Festival (source).
- Joe Kimmes stated that "the flux was named in memory of Xinrae since it had similar effects to the original version of Xinrae's Weapon".
