The Celestial Rat is the celestial being honoured during the Canthan New Year 2008 Festival, and is the embodiment of charisma, passion, and hard work.

- The Celestial Rat was officially announced at Canthan New Year 2008.
- This creature shares its model with a rat.
- If you receive a Miniature Celestial Rat via a Lunar Fortune [Year of the Rat], a Celestial Rat appears before the player for 5-10 seconds. This image appears and disappears, similar to the emote in the Hero title track, and is targetable as "Celestial Rat".
- During the finale if none of the meals were prepared, all the players in the district were turned into rats.

- 2008 was Year of the Rat in the Chinese Zodiac.
- The Celestial Rat is level 8. The number 8 is considered very lucky in Chinese culture.
