Shaman Caste

The Shaman Caste were the leaders of the Charr, headed by Hierophant Burntsoul. They forced their Charr brethren to worship the Titans as Gods; however, after the Titan downfall at the end of the Prophecies campaign, their stranglehold on the rest of the Charr was weakened. To regain some of their power, they tried to force a new set of "gods", the Destroyers, upon their race. This looked to fail after the events of the Assault on the Stronghold when a group of Charr, led by Pyre Fierceshot, started a rebellion against the Shamans. Hierophant Burntsoul was killed during the assault, drastically reducing the caste's power.
