[edit] Notes
- Destroyers are immune to burning, resistant to fire damage and vulnerable to cold damage.
- Their immunity to burning makes skills like Searing Flames useless.
- They have a -20 penalty to armor against cold damage.
- They typically have a +20 bonus to armor against fire damage, although some have a higher bonus.
- They generally have 20 more armor than typical monsters of the same profession and level.
- Destroyer warriors lack the profession's typical +20 armor bonus against physical damage.
- Despite their stony appearance, Destroyers are fleshy creatures.
- Despite having a wide range of professions, Destroyers have no healers and no condition removal, however their mesmers have hex removal skills.
- Winter combined with any elemental damage (like weapon upgrade, or fire elementalists nuke spells) works very well on them due to their lowered armor against cold damage.
- Armor-ignoring damage, life stealing, health degeneration (from sources other than burning) and direct health loss are also effective against Destroyers.

[edit] Trivia
- Destroyers were originally called "Tanneks", and early concept art for them shows them to be fleshy, piglike creatures. It is possible they were adapted for GW:EN after appearing in the cancelled Utopia campaign.
- Destroyer weapons were modeled after (or perhaps made partially from) these creatures, or what they are composed of.
