[edit] Skills that prevent burning
[edit] Notes
- Burning, also known as on fire, is a Condition that causes 7 pips Health Degeneration to a character. Due to this, it often only lasts for a few seconds. Burning can still be maintained more or less constantly with skills that can reapply burning quickly, like Mark of Rodgort and Incendiary Arrows.
- A character suffering from burning is engulfed in flames.
- The elementalist has many skills that cause burning under Fire Magic and the paragon has several skills either causing burning or benefiting from it.
- There are currently only two skills that have exclusive effects for burning. Other than that the best way to handle burning is to remove it as soon as possible and heal the damage:
- Frigid Armor - prevents the caster from becoming set on fire
- Extinguish - heals party members that have the burning condition removed by it
- Almost every skill that inflicts the burning condition mention this by using the term "on fire", rather than something like "is suffering from Burning".
- Burning is the only condition which affects spirits.
- Destroyers, Burning Spirits, Flowstone Elementals and Magma Blisters are immune to burning.
