[edit] Notes
- Dazed is effective against all spellcasters by making it much easier to interrupt their spells. A dazed target can be almost completely shutdown by characters with sufficiently high attack speeds.
- Monks are good targets for this condition, since dazing will prevent them from using condition removal spells.
- The visual indication of Dazed is white bubbles originating from the affected character's head.
- Most skills causing daze are elite, have long recharge, and/or have a condition that needs to be met.
- To protect yourself against Dazed, you can use skills that cause attacks to either miss or be blocked.
- Silencing upgrade components for weapons increase Dazed duration by 33%.
- A Rune of Recovery and the inscription "Soundness of Mind" can be used to reduce Dazed duration by 20%.
[edit] Trivia
- This condition was named Silenced during beta testing, which is more consistent with its icon (a figure with a bandage around his mouth) and the name of the upgrade component that extends its duration (Silencing).
