With the new buff(1 sec. activation) to Precision Shot with Shortbow and Incendiary Arrows, total interruption. Prepare Incendiary Arrows, bow attack followed by Precision Shot, rinse and repeat.--ShadowFog 13:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Now rendered completely useless with the "buff" to incendiary arrows. Now this skill basically sucks...

Well now...maybe with Melandru's Arrows to cause bleeding and spike at the same time, just a thought.--ShadowFog 17:01, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
It could also be combined with Broad Head Arrow for an unblockable interrupt. --Nicoli20 16:49, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

(reset indent) I think if you really had to land an arrow for an interrupt, Called Shot is probably a better choice (PvE wise anyway). I'd like to see it separated for PvE/PvP because PvE wise, it just doesn't feel all that appealing. The bonus damage is just too low for the cost and its easy interruptibility. It would be cool if it was still easily interruptable and unblockable, took 2 or 3 seconds to cast (it is precise after all), and did massive bonus damage like +30 or 40. And if you hit a foe with cracked armor (since it is a precision shot) you do even more bonus damage. All you have to do is increase the recharge to something so it is not OP (yes, the damage is a little more than Keen Arrow or Sloth's but long cast and easy interruption balance). It would be the closest thing to a real sniper shot for the player, which would be a fun thing for rangers. The Ebon Vanguard shouldn't get to have all the fun. pjfresh Serpent's Quickness.jpg 20:51, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Unlike Called Shot, this thing has a 1s activation time (meaning it activates 2 to 2,7 times as fast as an attack with regular activation time). With Rapid Fire, being interrupted becomes much less likely, so giving it a +30 bonus will boost its potential enormously. Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 21:03, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Intentional Buff?[edit]

This skill is good now. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (τѧιк) 20:40, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Someone was bitching (within a day ago) about how rangers can't kill master of survival anymore. Well that's wrong, you can now lolroll her because of this skill. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 20:52, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Should all the other stance-removing skills, such as Wild Blow, be listed in a "Related skills" section on this article? And should Precision Shot be included in the "Related skills" sections of the other stance-removing skill articles? --Silver Edge 20:59, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
I'd wait until we're sure that the stance-removing bit was intentional. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 21:03, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
I certainly hope it wasn't. This skill is straight abusive. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 13:10, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Maybe they felt bad for killing two ranger elites? lol... -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (τѧιк) 20:55, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
So they gave rangers a fourth elite to put on their bar. Cool beans. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 22:20, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't see what is so great about this compared to Wild Throw as long as it still costs 10 energy. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 22:26, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
4 energy*, lolfast activation, lolshort recharge, goes on a ranger?
I wouldn't suggest warriors take Wild Shot like they did with Wild Throw, but they really don't need to, since it's fast enough to just call for and get. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 22:31, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
That's exactly the point though, this would go on the Ranger, a profession that traditionally does not care about removing stances...and /R doesn't give much else of interest except Antidote Signet and I guess dshot (natty if you spec a bit), while at the same time you'd lose other important secondary stuff depending on class. Why is your Ranger not with the split group? Vili 点 User talk:Vili 02:45, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
The only time it wouldn't be good is during a gank. But it's not like rangers do that 24/7. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 12:13, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

I hate this, now my running build for Marhans needs con backup :( hope they fix it soon. 82.95.65.117 19:28, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Yeah that's the big problem with this bug.....--TahiriVeila 19:29, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
That's how I noticed it, tbh. Ryuu and I were Escape-running my ranger to Thunderhead Keep so I could cap Oath Shot (don't ask why), and we kept getting owned by this. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 19:55, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

There's going to be an update later today to fix the stance removing bug. See User:Regina Buenaobra/Journal#Upcoming Bug Fix - 1 February 2010. --Silver Edge 21:08, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Nerfed. I guess this skill isn't gonna see the light of day anymore. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (τѧιк) 03:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank god, getting owned while escape running sucked tbh. User Ryuu R.jpg Ryuu - talk 16:26, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

For gods sake, change this before the mAT[edit]

Nobody is gonna run rigor or wild throw, since rangers one spike are just gonna hit this and gg as the spike is practically unstoppable. 92.232.90.107 23:37, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

What's The difference between this skill and Called Shot? They are both unblockable. One adds a little damage and the other moves 3 times faster. So why is this skill much harder to use? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.64.97.103 (talk).

This one fires in 1/2s instead of the regular fire rate = better on spikes. ---Chaos?- (moo!) -- 13:29, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
It was also bugged and removed a stance (lolol) when OP posted. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 18:28, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
oh :p I was answering to the 2nd guy though ^_^ ---Chaos?- (moo!) -- 19:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
