[edit] Description

Extraxi, a name derived from the Dragon. These individuals are blessed at birth with Otherworldly lineage from Dragons. They essentially are natural users of the Frontliner Spear, a somewhat quick, light but puissant construction capable of almost heartless domination, formed much like a classic Polearm. Many Extraxi Skills require remorseless stores of energy thus making use of the one in a million ability given to them before birth. Worldly manifestations of the Drake Soul gain natural highs from taking the spark from a foe's eye(s) and develop almost Diamond-Sheath skin making them able front-liners without the burden of bulky or ponderous armor weights. Also able to capture or manipulate souls and channel lineage to export mass destruction make the Extraxi formidable.

Common personality of the Extraxi: Commonly misunderstood as arrogant, high and haughty (eg. frowning on others as a lesser, without racial traits inclusive). It's natural for someone who has inherited certain traits from such a potent and rare bloodline. They are however trustworthy and seek to subdue the bigger threats within Tyria as a planet, taunts and frightful-humor aside.

Extraxi Inspiration: The heroes of the Extraxi embrace the worldly and limitless teachings of Kuunavang and Glint. Whilst also remembering the tasks of the pre-dragon Tahmu, newer generations have also mixed in the more focused teachings of Lyssa for the illusive protection.

The Extraxi Flaw: The Extraxi' practices have only ever been taken to a certain peak, when one attempts to exceed that peak (allowing the Bloodline to completely overtake oneself)... they must pay the price. Also, due to the nature of the lineage, they have no natural energy regeneration and must find other means, both through Lineage and skill knowledge.

The initial armor set embraces no energy bonus.

Unique Insignias

Trivial Fang Insignia (+5..15% chance to gain +1 energy on attack hit, non-stacking).

Soul Fang Insignia (+5 while constructing a Soul Cage).

Senile Fang Insignia (+10 armor whenever casting a non-Mew Finesse Spell).

Parkour Insignia (+15 Armor whenever activating a "Vault" type skill).

Spears

Maximum damage range: 10 - 26

Attack rate: 2.8 seconds.

Modifiers: Spear Tip (name prefix) and Spear Detail (suffix).

Pierce/Brandish: Per Rank in Spear Mastery you have a 3% chance to hit a foe either directly adjacent or directly behind target foe.


Greatswords

Maximum damage range: 5 - 34.

Damage type: Slashing damage.

Attack rate: 1.9 seconds.

Modifiers: Greatsword Hilt (name prefix) Greatsword Pommel (suffix).

Note: When Greatswords are in a state of attacking (not attack skills), they can hit up to 3 adjacent foes.

[edit] [Primary Att: Drake Soul]

With Each Rank in Drake Soul you gain +1 Base Armor, Each time you deliver a finishing blow you gain 1 energy for every 2 ranks. Your Spear Attack speed is reduced by 0.2 seconds for each rank (Maximum 8 Ranks).

[edit] [Spear Mastery]

Spear Mastery increases the damage you do with spears and your chance to inflict a critical hit when using a spear. There is a 3% chance per rank of Spear Mastery that attacks from your Spears will Pierce/Brandish. Many skills, especially spear attack skills, become more effective with higher Spear Mastery.

[edit] [Greatsword Mastery]

Greatsword Mastery increases the damage you do with Greatswords and your chance to inflict a critical hit when using a Greatsword. Many skills, especially Greatsword attack skills and other skills that involve sacrificing health, become more effective with higher Greatsword Mastery.

[edit] [Mew Finesse]

Without Mew Finesse, you have a 10% chance to trigger a Soul Cage's effect while attacking. For every two ranks of Mew Finesse, you gain an added 2% chance. Many Extraxi skills, especially those that confine souls, benefit fellow ally, and benefit combat, become more effective with higher Mew Finesse.


[[Soul Cages]]: You can have 3 Soul cages active of anytime (+1 Soul Cage at 13+ Mew Finesse) and an added 1 Elite Soulcage that won't conflict with the others. If you attempt to summon more than specified, you will kill off the last.


Notes:

- Soul Cages will activate abilities by chance as you attack.

- Soul Cage effects will not have a chance of triggering on the second hit of a double-strike.

- Soul Cages have limitless duration (Unless otherwise stated) and are for the most part, invincible until Dispelled or Overwritten.

23. Another shove to allow Extraxi to main Spear Mastery over other classes. Updated Drake Soul. Reduced Spear attack speed.

22. Reduced Spear Attack Power, Buffed Attack Speed, This is solely to buff Extraxi energy gain.

21. Added some more Spear Mastery skills, do enjoy~ note: first second of +recharge reduction doesn't start till rank 12.

20. Changed the basics of the Extraxi, they now have no natural energy regeneration, think of it as like, one giant adrenal metre. THERE! Also changed the armor~ are we interested in giving this prof a go now :D?

17. Basilic Pike will be there to assist in spikes (with the addition of the neat Spear Weapon Pierce/Brandish it will be nasty), Lame Finish is yet another finisher you can bring along (This time spreading crippled on death) for well-timed kite support in minor clustered situations.

16. Fixing names and coming to reason with "Assail" and "Pike"... Pike will require some form of sacrifice while Assail will require either nothing OR a Soul Cage to excecute.

8. Lessenified activation on Vault skills, I noticed I should judging by the sheer legnth of time my Ritualist takes to summon up an entire spirit army.

7. Removed ADR gain from death, didn't intend to have any Adrenal skills here anyways n.n, Lowered Spear Attack Speed to that of almost a hammer.

Added a bunch of Spear Mastery Skills: Hextuple Assail as weak and dangerous to use as it sounds is created to abuse your own/ally Necro's Barbs/Mark of Pain, Elite simply because both ways it can potentially deal hideous amounts of damage. Malevolent Pike I feel could be a wonderful skill that I feel can be used effectively by all melee classes, Extraxi will be the only one with energy gain on death assuming you have a couple of points in Drake Soul. May raise Energy cost/recharge. Another finisher was added =] do enjoy.

5. Hopefully finalizing Vault changes, The reason it's not in Spear Mastery is for Anti-Expertise abuse Reasons, Drake Soul still makes sense... Dragoons are known to jump extremely high in parkour.

Glint's Sight - 5 e-cost 30rec - 1 acti - Enchantment Spell - For 10..40 seconds you cannot be blinded. You lose a soul cage every 20 seconds or Dragon Sight ends.

Glint's Sight (PvP) - 5 e-cost 30rec - 1 acti - Enchantment Spell - For 10..40 seconds you cannot be blinded. You lose a soul cage every 10 seconds or Dragon Sight ends.

Grand Vault - 5 e-cost 25rec - 8 acti - Ranged Attack - You Vault to target foe's location and deal +6...24 damage for each Soul Cage you have (maximum 70 bonus damage) if it hits. Foes Adjacent take 3...15% of this damage.

Igneous Breath - 10 e-cost 15rec - 3/4 acti - Elite Touch Spell - Deals 10...58 fire damage each second (5 seconds). Hits foes adjacent to targets initial location. Ends if you move or use a skill. End effect: You are crippled for 10 seconds.

Igneous Breath (PvP) - 10 e-cost 15rec - 1 acti - Elite Touch Spell - Deals 10...58 fire damage each second (5 seconds). Hits foes adjacent to targets initial location. Ends if you move or use a skill. End effect: You move 50% slower for 10 seconds.

Kuunavang's Fury - 5 e-cost 15rec - 1 acti - Elite Enchantment - For 8...25 seconds you have an additional 5...30% chance to Pierce/Brandish when using a Spear. You have -16...4 armor while under this enchantment.

Lyssa's Vault - 5 e-cost 5rec - 1 acti - Skill - For 6 seconds you activate "Vualt" which shares the same icon and description as "Vault". Nothing Happens after "Vualt" activates.

Soul Arbiter - 10 e-cost 30rec - 1 acti - Elite Enchantment - You gain 1...8 energy whenever you erect a Soul Cage. This Enchantment Ends if your health drops below 50%

Soul Arbiter (PvP) - 10 e-cost 30rec - 1 acti - Elite Enchantment - You gain 1...8 energy whenever you erect a Soul Cage. This Enchantment Ends if your health drops below 70%

Glint's Envoy - 10 e-cost 45rec - 2 acti - Enchantment Spell - For 31...50 seconds. You gain 1 Energy plus 10...25% of the Energy cost when you erect a Soul Cage.

Majesty Vault - 5 e-cost 25% Health 30rec - 8 acti - Elite Ranged Spear Attack - You Vault to target foe's location and deal +8...28 damage for each Soul Cage you have (maximum 80 bonus damage) if it hits. Foes Adjacent take 6...20% of this damage and are knocked down.

Malevolent Pike - 10 e-cost 5% Health 8rec - 3/4 acti - Spear Attack - If target foe is activating a skill that foe takes 9...60 Chaos Damage. If this results in a finishing blow you lose all remaining energy.
