Okay, so this is going to be dedicated to my very first character on guild wars, Karina Ling! Karina is 12 months old. So as of August 2008, I will be celebrating my first year in guild wars! Yay! Guild wars is soo much fun. Anyhow, Karina is my mesmer. I had to go with mesmer. Even in Diablo 2 and various other games, I have to make one of my characters a spell caster. The reason I choose a mesmer though, is because I had seen beautiful pictures of them before I even started playing the game. So I fell in love with the mesmer class right away. So Karina is my pretty little mesmer and now she is even in her Asuran armor.

History Behind Karina Ling

Karina was actually a similar name I used for one my characters on Diablo 2, but I decided I didnt want to use Kari as the name....I would then have to many characters named Kari XD. So I sat there thinking for about 20-30 minutes when finally it hit me in the face. One of my friends since elementary school has a board forum where she and I role play every now and then. One of the characters in one of our role plays was a girl named: Karina. With Blue eyes and blonde hair. In the role play she was gifted with certain abilities that weren't common at that time (Ie. She could see in the future through her dreams). So Karina was the first name and ironically I had already choosen the blonde hair color for my mesmer. Now picking the last name was alittle easier. XD I was watching disney and it was "Windy Wo Wand: Home Coming Queen", I think is what was on...So I choose Ling cause it was a chinese based, last time I heard. So thats how my Mesmer got her name XD.
