Hi there![edit]

I moved your image, File:Aquadrizzt_Acolyte_of_Selune.png, to File:User_Aquadrizzt_Acolyte_of_Selune.png, as you seem to be using it in your userspace. In the future, please upload all of the images that you plan to use in your userspace as User_Aquadrizzt_Imagenamehere.png (or whatever your chosen file extension happens to be). Also, make sure to check out the welcome center, as it contains most of the policies and rules that this wiki uses. Thanks, and welcome to the wiki! Considering[edit]

I'm considering to undo you as I don't like the way that looks, please get consensus at the armor area before changing something up like that. It doesn't help the page looking like it does. Tried to fix it, but blah. ugly even still. Just thought I'd let you know. Kaisha User Kaisha Sig.png 19:02, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

I'd take any and all suggestions on how to make them look better. Aquadrizzt 19:12, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

I have to agree with Kaisha here, it is kinda ugly and more than that it's relatively unnecessary information. It's nice to know but I think it should be at a separate location than the actual armor page. Plus it deviates from the armor formatting guidelines and no discussions have been made about it yet. --Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 19:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
I would suggest to place it on the formatting materials section. I can give a link. Also, to place it in the rfc and do a sandbox of your idea first. that's what I have done to many of the armor material sections and I'm still waiting a reply to continue or not. Psst[edit]

Ya know, GuildWiki and PvX actually moved from Wikia. Just the sites there can't be deleted. Kaisha User Kaisha Sig.png 03:26, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Why are you contacting me here of all places? Aqua (T|C) 01:31, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm banned on gw2w, where you're most active :-P 72.148.31.114 06:50, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Bot[edit]

Do you want to register a bot? I'm pretty sure people (like me) will nag you for flooding the RC with edits, albeit minor edits. --Riddle 03:43, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

I had this discussion on GW2W with Poke and Tane about getting a bot flag for one account or another. The tl;dr of it was, for ~250 minor page edits, it's really not worth it. I have an account for when I actually get around to learning how to code bot algorithms. (I'm not currently running bot algorithms.) Aqua (T|C) 03:44, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Weapon types[edit]

When you update weapon types, could you capitalize the first word, e.g. Focus item, Wand, etc.? That would be more consistent with the presentation in most infoboxes and elsewhere on the wiki. See e.g. User:Tennessee_Ernie_Ford/Sandbox_3, which shows official names in title case and unofficial terms (e.g. Chaos damage or Focus item) in first-cap case. Thanks! – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 06:57, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

First, thanks for removing "Unique". Second we were using that to judge which weapons hadn't had their entire pages cleaned up (with the skin moved to a section in the notes) - gonna be a pita to hunt down the ones that haven't been updated now :p Also the capitalisation is going to want fixing -_- File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 12:38, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
Oh and most importantly you didn't cleanup the redundant tags! (that was the reason for implementing the change to the infobox in the first place :/ ) File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 12:40, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
@TEF: Are you saying you want "Unique Focus item" or "Unique focus item"? My assumption with the capitalization was that only unique should be capitalized, otherwise it becomes an awkward mix of title case and first-cap case.
@Chieftan Alex: At the very least, the infobox problems for unique weapons have been cleaned up, which I'm pretty sure was the point of a category named Category:Needs Weapon infobox cleanup. I also intend to go through the weapons that I updated shortly and fix all other formatting/tagging problems. Aqua (T|C) 23:18, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

I see you've been busy[edit]

And it's good to see you among the recent changes again. :) - Infinite - talk 07:29, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Well... I have a lot of thoughts about Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 so I decided to throw them out there. Aqua (talk) 15:26, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
I have a mind to do the same. Honestly, Guild Wars is the superior game if you match both games to the height of their abilities. If only the devs would understand that and accept help to revive the game into its former glory, instead of the current state of "GW2-goodies-get-your-GW2-goodies-here!"
Guild Wars is and has been the only online game that was able to keep me hooked for over 7 years in a row (and still does), and as someone who's witnessed it all from beta till now... I just feel cheated that this gem of a game needs to be abandoned by its staff just because a sequel is making more money. If only I was gifted at developing games and had a lot of money and some strong servers. I'd buy the whole thing right off of them, and fix everything that has been brutally broken. :< - Infinite - talk 15:35, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Anet should just add a couple of updates to GW1 and GW2 that allows players to make achievements in GW1 that rewards in GW2. Not just the HoM before the release but a continuous interactive gameplay between the 2 games, that might give the GW1 population a nice boost. Another option is that they could make GW1 characters be transfered to GW2 for certain GW1 PvP formats used in GW2, such as RA, HA, FA and JQ, plenty of people enjoyed GW1 PvP. Da Mystic Reaper 19:58, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Personally I feel GW needs to be distanced from GW2, if anything. We've had our HoM points fun; I hardly ever see people use HoM skins; I doubt a lot of people are still farming their 30-50 HoM points; they might as well remove it again. Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars feel alien to one another, anyway. - Infinite - talk 20:08, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
True, the thing that bothers me the most is the geography. I know it can change over a 250 years lifespan, places like Maguuma, Kryta and Ascalon, but not the Shiverpeak mountains, well except for the far northern parts. Mountains remains roughly the same troughout the centuries, a landslide or mining may change it some but but it does not change it's shape or pathing. The current route between north and south, mainly Lornar's Pass, Dreadnought's Drift, Snake Dance bears no resemblance to GW1 at all and like i said mountains do not change so significantly over a "mere" 250 years. Another thing is the skill system, Izzy realy played it safe with GW2, i can understand knowing the huge imbalance between the skills in GW1 wich he has been heavily criticised for. Still it's a very boring skills system, i for one enjoyed making builds wich no longer can be done. Da Mystic Reaper 20:20, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

those newly blank pages[edit]

would you like them deleted, or will you reformat them like your minimalistic userpage? ^^ -Chieftain Alex 19:52, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

I think I'm good for the most part... I'll let you know if I need anything deleted :) Aqua (talk) 22:27, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Congrats![edit]

Congratulations on getting GWAMM! :) horrible | contribs 12:19, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

Awww, thanks Horrible! I wanted to get it finished before End of Dragons comes out; 12 year old me would have been so proud. Having said that never doing Tyrian Vanquisher again. Aqua (talk) 23:21, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
