Removing image tags

If you want to keep that image it's gotta keep the tags, but if you don't want it anymore tag it with {{delete}} (usage info at GWW:DELETE). :) - BeX 13:23, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Oh, by the way, if you want to replace images, you can click on it, and then there's a link underneath that says "Upload a new version of this file" and that overwrites it with your new version. Sometimes it might take a little bit for the server to register the change, but it saves editing the page to change the link. :) - BeX 14:12, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion on suggestions

Perhaps it is becuase you have difficulty communicating in English you resort to disruption. Or perhaps it is becuase you feel possesive about pages you have made. In either case, you may be happier if you put the suggestions in your userspace, typcially a subpage to your main userpage, and then linked to that page. That way, you could format it however you like, make your own version of existing suggestion, have the suggestions as biased as you please and so on. And noone else gets to edit them unless you allow it. (Within limits). Backsword 22:45, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

That's the problem right there. It's not "other people's", it's everyones, and should be edited and or removed. You obviously have a problem with that, which is why I suggest you put them in your userspace instead, as others have done when they want personal suggestions. Reverting

Read Guild Wars Wiki:One-revert rule, please. Your continuous re-reverts and disregard for discussion and policy are not helpful. If you want to resolve a situation, you'll get more done by discussing and explaining your actions and opinions than by re-reverting, shouting, or disrupting (and getting yourself blocked in the process) - that's the way things are done on the wiki: if something is contested, discussion arises to sort out the situation and achieve a consensual result.

By the way, Gordon's edit after you added the deletion tag to ArenaNet:Guild Wars 2 suggestions/Fantasy-like graphics was re-inserting the removed information - if people are to discuss the deletion/content or an admin to delete the page, they need to know what's on the page, and removing that content is a hindrance. Also, as JonTheMon says in his edit summary, the suggestion pages belong to the community and whether or not they are deleted is up to that community; again, that is done through discussion.

If you can't work on them constructively, I advise you stay away from the suggestion pages. -- Brains12 \ talk 18:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Attitude

I just want to point some things out to you Limu, I have tried to be nothing but helpful to you, answering your questions, trying to resolve the issue with your suggestion pages, etc. Your aggressive, and demeaning attitude (calling me a fool on Aiiane's talk page) is really not appreciated, nor is it warranted (not to mention it's a violation of GWW:NPA and could have gotten you blocked yet again). It's really frustrating for us (the sysops and admins) to encounter users like you who disregard any help they are offered, and respond with hostility. All of us work very hard to make the wiki better, and to try to uphold wiki policy and we take a lot of abuse in doing so. I can't change your opinion, nor have I set out to do so, but you were warned multiple times over the course of a few days that you were violating GWW:1RR on suggestion page(s?), and also warned of the consequences of repeatedly violating GWW:1RR. Yet you continued to engage in a revert war with little constructive discussion regarding the matter, and so were rightfully blocked.
