Hello Sktbrd341, and welcome to the Guild Wars Official Wiki! Here are some recommended guidelines to help you get involved. Please feel free to contact me if you need help with anything. Best of luck and happy editing! Fox 19:37, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

Don't be afraid to edit—anyone can edit almost any page, and we encourage you to be bold! Find something that can be improved, whether content, grammar or formatting, and make it better.

 • We try to follow a common style and format across articles for consistency. When editing, you can generally look at a similar article for an example or consult the formatting guidelines.
 • Other wikis for Guild Wars generally use licenses that are incompatible with ours, and most of their content cannot be used here. See Guild Wars Wiki:Copyrighted content for details.
 • This wiki has its own policies which you might like to check out. Also see Guild Wars Wiki:Article retention for more about what kind of information is retained here.
 • See Guild Wars Wiki:User page for details and guidelines for personalized pages.
 • As a new wiki, we are still missing a lot of articles. If you find a subject that needs an article, you can add some basic information and create it (it doesn't have to be complete!). See the list of wanted pages for pages that are linked to, but have not yet been created.
 • Some articles have only basic information and need to be filled out -- these are known as "stubs". To find and help with these, look through Category:Stubs.
 • To join or start a focused effort on improving specific areas of the wiki, see Guild Wars Wiki:Projects.
 • Some users like to browse pages at random to find articles to improve. Use the "Random page" link in the side navigation box.
 • To keep up-to-date with current wiki activities, see the community portal and Guild Wars Wiki:Discussion.

"Dialogues"

I wouldn't worry too much about fixing those, if I were you - I've got a bot working on fixing that spelling error right now. It's about half-way done, and it's fixed over a hundred articles already ^^ Bots are fun. MisterPepe talk 17:48, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

Yea i know you have a bot doing it but i am really bored so I figured I would help. I was also just checking all of the quests to update the projects page so if I was seeing them I was changing them. --Sktbrd341 17:50, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

RC spam

I know your testing, but can't you mark the edits as minor by default or something? -- Gem (gem / talk) 21:15, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

sorry I thought I was marking them as minor edits by clicking on the box on the bottom. I also had an infinte loop that wouldn't allow me to edit my monobook.js file and just kept adding stuff to the bottom. That might be where some of the changes came from. I fixed it now so the RC shouldn't be flooded by me. Will not happen again. --Sktbrd341 21:19, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Not a big problem, I was just bored enough to post about it. -- Gem (gem / talk) 21:36, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Its always nice to have somebody to keep others in check. --Sktbrd341 22:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
I spam loads lol. I should install MediaWiki on my server, probably. Ale_Jrb (talk) 22:09, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Did you just have a birthday or something?

I could have sworn it used to say that you were 19. Now it's 20. If so, happy birthday! - Thulsey User Thulsey good.gif - talk 14:16, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Yea, Thanks. My birthday was on the 31st. --Sktbrd341 15:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Stalker? :P --Lemming64 15:11, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Possibly, lol --Sktbrd341 15:13, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Be Vewy Vewy Afwaid. >__> Nah, I was just checking related changes off the Quest Project page... - Thulsey User Thulsey good.gif - talk 15:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

dude my thing keeps saying I am logged in as this guy when I go to the main page.. but I've never heard of him before in my life.. On other pages it doesn't do this, but on the main page it's as if I'm always logged in as Sktbrd341. It sucks because I can't actually do anything as Sktbrd since it only works on the main page. Oh well just some bug i guess - Krakko

Helper category

Currently you are listed twice in the helper category. Could you read here for suggestions on how to fix it? Thank you! - BeX iawtc 09:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey thanks for lettting me know that I would of probably noticed the double listing myself and would of tried to fix it. But i have been swamped with school work. Any way it is fixed now so there should be no problem. --Sktbrd341 14:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

No problem left comment on you talk page. --Sktbrd341 05:22, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Q

If you have any questions on the wiki, feel free to leave a comment on my talk page

Ok for example let's look on ~ KurdKurdsig.png and he's nick. It's red and got sun icon - is there an option which able to add icon and color to your nick? ~~ And then only click "Your signature button" and color and icon appears? Or must i bury in that code everytime like that <font color=#FF0000>Kurd</font> --Gret 06:20, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey I see you took me up on the questions. The only thing I know about how to change your signature is you go under your preferences -> Special:Preferences and the User Profile tab and you add in the code into the Nickname field. The thing that I don't know how to do is the actual coloring of the font because if you just copy how Kurd did his it doesn't work right. --Sktbrd341 06:31, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
I did a little research just now on other talk pages and found that if you want to change the color you can use this in the nickname field <span style="color: Green">Sktbrd341</span> and you have to also checkbox the raw signature box. Hope this helps, and thanks for asking that because I wanted to figure it out also. --Sktbrd341 06:46, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Edit Conflict

Yarg. =.= File:Vengeance-Sig.jpg Vengeance 18:08, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Sorry Vengeance, I had just checked recent changes and saw the page was edited. I checked it out and saw that the quest placeholder was still on so i deleted it. Sorry. --Sktbrd341 18:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Lol, No problem. I was kidding.=P File:Vengeance-Sig.jpg Vengeance 18:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Figured you were kidding. --Sktbrd341 18:15, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

My change

I thought the whole point was to put it in your own words. If the walkthrough was correct theres not much i can do other than change the wording. Or you want me to jumble the sentences around as well? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Terra .

I think there's a difference between "put it in your own words" and "swap a few words". -- ab.er.rant sig 05:57, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
How many ways are there of saying "head west and talk to this person. then head west and talk to this other person"? but fair enough, Suit yourselves. I'll go back to editing guildwiki Terra 13:24, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Copyvio on Brood Wars

Hey Sktbrd341, I've removed the copyvio-tag from Brood Wars, since it is not a copyvio. The walkthrough has been written by Karlos on GuildWiki and his contributions there are also released under GFDL, and therefor can be used here. Just wanted to let you know. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 12:33, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks CoRrRan, I usually check and make sure that it isn't written by one of the editors from here like Karlos but I must of missed that one. Not sure how long ago I tagged that one, but if thats the case, that is fine. --Sktbrd341 12:57, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Three weeks ago. Talk about a backlog! :) -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 12:59, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
