Dalos Ekarus fell in love with the Kurzick Meika Ulrikar of House Ulrikar. His father, Seaguard Ekarus, was forced to returned to Cantha while he was allowed to stay as a refugee in Kryta.

- "My father is a fool, spilling this war onto foreign lands. The Krytans have tossed my fellow Luxons from these lands and forced them back to the Jade Sea. I will remain behind with my dear Meika. I want no more part in this conflict."

- Dalos was the Luxon refugee allowed to remain in Kryta when all others were forced to return to Cantha. See April 25, 2006 update for more information.
