Objectives[edit]
- Defeat Ulrik the Undefeated in Traveler's Vale.
- Return to Sebedoh the Mesmer for your reward.

Walkthrough[edit]
Ulrik is almost directly outside of Yak's Bend. He uses enchantment spells to boost his armor rating, so consider bringing enchantment removal skills. If these haven't been obtained yet, the henchman Dunham is equipped with Drain Enchantment. Ulrik's armor-boosting enchantments are Armor of Earth and Kinetic Armor, both of which apply bonus armor rating, and therefore do not stack. The largest bonus will be that of Kinetic Armor. As expected of a Mesmer quest, skills such as Backfire and armor-ignoring damage skills work wonders. Melee attack-oriented skill bars face not only Ulrik's armor bonus, but also Ward Against Melee. When Ulrik is defeated, return to Sebedoh in Yak's Bend.

- "You there, if you are truly worthy of the title Mesmer, I have a little task for you. It seems that those Stone Summit Dwarves have themselves a champion that they consider invincible. They've left him just outside of town, and he's been menacing everyone who tries to pass. So far, he's absolutely demolished anyone who dares face him. Now I'm convinced a good Mesmer can take him down, but since I'm busy and you're available, we might just have to see if a merely adequate Mesmer can also get the job done.

Ask: "Did this Ulrik fellow scare you off? Or could it be that you just can't find him? He's been standing just up the road from town and shouting challenges all day."
