[RP] is a fun guild who plays to enjoy the game and will continue doing so. We are very helpful when it comes to new players so anyone who needs a hand just needs to ask, cooperation is a key aspect in this guild and we strive to live up to that.

We allow, nay, ENCOURAGE the use of "lively, colorful debate" and "provocational character assessment" between players (guild members or otherwise) if they so deserve it, we give as good as we get, if not better.

History

Founded in March of 2007, Rising Phoenix hit the ground running and never looked back. Many people have tried joining its elite ranks throughout its existence, but all save a select few quickly had their sanity drained away and were left a drooling puddle of mush, unable to comprehend the unlimited depth of skill of their superiors.

At some point in RP's long and flourished history (the exact date being lost in the mists of time), Guild officer Fatal Papercut lead a hostile coup of his closest and most loyal confidants against the oppressive overlord Darkflame-Whatever-Hes-Calling-Himself-Nowadays, and successfully gained the position of Guild Leader. However, the stresses of running a guild of such astronomical proportions eventually got to him, and he again forced the then-named Reaper-Creeper or whoever he was under the harsh yoke of guild leadership, tormenting him into leading the guild wether he wanted to or not.

In more recent days RP has begun to exhibit signs of their unrivaled fantasticness once more, breaking the spirits of friends and the faces of foes alike, and running elite missions like they were hunting those level 0 skale tads outside Pre-searing Ascalon. Except for Duncan in Slavers Exile. That guy can crap in a bucket.
