In the beginning, there was the Alpha Test. There were two bastions of courage, Heroes of their time. They were Mori and Muppet. When it became time for the Beta test to begin, these two let it be known to a certain RPG community that this Cadillac of MMOs was coming up for beta. The community took part in the beta weekends and created several guilds such as The Flaming Fist. They rampaged across the lands and made it to Lion's Arch many times.

When the game went live in 2005 we adopted and converged on the House Behelit guild which had also been created by one of our beta friends, named after the magical item from Berserk. Many of the originals have since left or became inactive. However, there is a rich core of the guild that has remained. Members have come and gone, arrived and then faded into inactivity, but there has always been a core. A good central group of friends have remained.

Though predominantly UK based, we have several players in countries spread acrosss the globe. Our guild dabbles in PvP when the mood and the numbers are right, but spends most of the time playing PvE. Allied with the Luxons, we occasionally lend a hand to the battle lines.

The small core of players that are left are always supporting each other and looking for opportunity to play together. Having been around a while we are mostly looking to progress titles or overcome HM or other challenge areas (such as FoW, UW, DoA). The guild helps players attain titles, such as by donating all items to one member who wants to max out a consumable (sweets, booze, etc). If someone needs a hand in a mission or quest they just ask for help and the guild rallies to their aid!

Recruitment

We do not seek to grow for the sake of growing, so we do not invite strangers to join us. However we like playing with new people, so strangers can become friends, and if we enjoy their company we invite them to join us. If you are a mature (well, mostly ;) ) and friendly player and happen to see a group of BHLT capes forming for a mission feel free to ask if we have room for you.
