Our Guild doesn't hold much 'history' as of now.

On June 27th, 2009, Blastem The Master got tired of today's guilds. He was tired of guilds that required faction donations, guilds that were just too strict, as well as guilds that were downright unpleasant and not helpful to newer members. He was hanging out in Lion's Arch, and decided that he would make his own guild, with few strict rules and a larger atmosphere of fun and helpfulness. Noob Population Control is just at its genesis, planning to grow and expand along with the rest of the players in each guild in our wonderful alliance.

'Noob Population Control' means whatever you want it to mean. How I thought of it was pretty interesting. If you've ever played World of Warcraft, or at least know a bit about it, you'd know that there was Horde and Alliance. And I was on it one day (why would I play WoW?) and saw a guild with the name Horde Population Control, and thought it was hilarious. So the day I created NPC, that came back to my mind and I decided... I 'could' make it Luxon Population Control, since [NPC] is a Kurzick guild, but I used to be a Luxon myself.... I 'could' make it Charr Population Control, but that would give the idea that it's a PvE-only guild. (Which it's not). So... I decided that the name 'Noob Population Control' would not only keep away the noobs, but sound like a fun and humorous guild at the same time. Thus, [NPC] was born.

We basically do everything. We are PvX, which means both PvE and PvP, but I myself lean towards PvE much more. Our Guild isn't dedicated to getting loads of faction, staying at the top of ladders, or doing an event every night. We understand that some of our future members may have lives. Hey, we do too! You could call [NPC] laid-back. We might schedule a few days as designated Title days, Vanquishing Days, but that's a maybe. You aren't forced into anything, really, you can just get together some guild mates and do a dungeon, mission, whatever, as long as they're up to it as well. Don't feel afraid to ask for help, either.

Recruitment

[NPC] is, of course, recruiting. We're at the dawn of our genesis. Our alliance is all brand spanking new as well. We're moving in, we're getting set up. We're always looking for new recruits or new guilds to expand our wonderful alliance that is the [NPC] Alliance. If you're interested in joining, PM one of the officers or me, our names are listed below.
