Kournan military

The Kournan military is an army of mostly drafted soldiers that are led by the Warmarshal of Kourna. Underneath the Warmarshal are the generals and lower ranks creating the chain of command. Kourna is mainly a militant province within Elona and as such their military is known as the strongest in the Land of the Golden Sun.

During Nightfall, the Kournan military were led to join demons in a war against the Order of the Sunspears, Istan, and Vabbi by Warmarshal Varesh. During this time, the military often stripped the peasants of food, supplies, and workers in order to keep the military strong. It is unknown how much they take during times of peace.
