Like a Boss
If no one is the boss, killing another player makes you the boss, giving you -20 armor but the following bonuses: +33% attack speed, +33% movement speed, -33% skill activation time, +3 Health regeneration, and +1 Energy regeneration. If you die, you stop being the boss. If another player killed you, they become the boss.

Kill the boss (or any player if there is no boss); now you're the boss: -20 armor, +33% attack speed, +33% movement speed, -33% skill activation time, +3 Health regeneration, and +1 Energy regeneration. If you die, you're not the boss anymore. If a player killed you, they're the boss now.

- This Flux is in effect every September (UTC−7).
- A player will only gain the Boss buff if they caused another player or the boss to die (i.e. lose their last one health) from damage. A player will not gain the Boss buff if they caused another player or the boss to die from health degeneration, health loss (e.g. Enfeebling Touch), Life Draining or life stealing.
Trivia[edit]
- This and the Boss buff has been in effect every September since 2012 (following UTC±0 in 2012 and UTC−7 in 2013 onward).
- Before the September 26, 2013 update, henchmen gained the Boss buff after killing a player or henchman even if someone else still had the Boss buff, which allowed one player and more than one henchman to have the Boss buff.
- After that update and before the January 16, 2014 update, players gained the Boss buff after killing another player even if someone else still had the Boss buff, which allowed more than one player to have the Boss buff.
- Like a Boss is the name of a song by The Lonely Island that is a parody of a song with the same name by Slim Thug.
