Huh[edit]

When/Where am I supposed to get the quest? --horsedrowner 13:16, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

If I remember correctly, Zunraa is to the right of the gate inside Seitung Harbor (back in a ways by the wall). You may need ring the bell for him to appear.-- Inspired to ____ 13:36, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

(late reply to same problem I'm having) Nice map of route, but from main page could not figure out how to or whom from the quest can be received. Could this information be be considered for an update on the main page? And as I side note, with 13 nightfall characters each with 200 attribute points, I have been playing my sin and ritualist with 170 attribute points for almost one year. Pretty pathetic of me - but I honestly thought that the factions characters were only allowed 170 attribute points <yes I'm a window licker for not catching that> hey if the wiki main page editors could post a little more acquisition, location information (please) for these two quests / where-whom-how-and /or requirements, I'd find it very helpful in getting off of noob island to the mainland to finish work on my factions character quests, and get my current factions characters their extra 30 attribute points. Thank you, from a grateful noob myself :) cecil 02:00, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
You have to ring the bell of the Shrine of Zunraa in the town to make the quest giver appear. Here's a screenshot for anybody who'se having trouble finding it. 24.89.252.72 12:32, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Zunraa when you finish it, but Kirin when you start[edit]

Just to note, I just did this quest and the initial NPC giver is called "Kirin", who has the same model as Zunraa. He is to the right of the Zunraa Shrine. When you complete the quest and return to town, Kirin is not there anymore, and Zunraa is instead found on the left side of the Zunraa Shrine in Seitung Harbor.

See the above note... The quest GIVER is Kirin. k? -- smashman User Smashman2004 Sig.png talk 20:36, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

No it's not. [1][2] BlackBlood User BlackBlood Blooddrop.jpg 23:59, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Try looking a few posts up? BlackBlood User BlackBlood Blooddrop.jpg 23:01, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I've seen otherwise, unfortunatly I never got a shot of it, I got the quest from kirin, to the left of where zunraa is now, kirin changed to zunraa the next time I entered after having gotten the quest once, even abandoning it will not revert it to kirin. Semi-permanent death penalty?[edit]

I tried this quest and both me and my heroes died until we all had 60% death penalty. After a couple tries, I did finish it, but no matter how many creatures we killed, the death penalty didn't change at all. Am I the only one experiencing this problem, or did I miss some critical explanation about death penalties? Ryft Myth 18:02, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Depends on your level. You need to gain experience to remove DP incrementally.Chances are, if your char is level 20,during this quest you won't gain much,if any BlackBlood User BlackBlood Blooddrop.jpg 18:09, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
From Death Penalty: Experience (PvE): Gaining 75 experience points will remove 1% DP.
From Experience: enemies that are 6 or more levels below yours do not give XP.
As mentioned by BlackBlood, most enemies here are level 10 or 14, so level 20 characters will get no XP from them. --NIN37 03:25, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Notes[edit]

Sometimes Zunraa will be shown as Kirin instead. What is the frequency in which this happens? I for one have never seen it in 2 years of playing and x characters completing factions. Is there a chance this is a bug and there are other NPC's that occaisionally become named as their species? In other words, screenshot of Zunraa being called Kirin or it didn't happen.Which would naturally nullify the notes BlackBlood User BlackBlood Blooddrop.jpg 15:17, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm including the note as per GWW:AGF. If smashman says it happened, we'll leave it in. --JonTheMon 15:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
FYI It wasn't Smashman that noted it on the talk page. The NPC is clearly called Zunraa which is proven. There is only a suggestion that occaisionally Zunrraa may appear as Kirin, nothing that i have seen so far to substantiate that claim. If someone shows a genuine screenshot of Zunraa being called Kirin then fine, until then imo the note isn't warranted and could indicate a bug which so far hasn't been noted anywhere on this wiki BlackBlood User BlackBlood Blooddrop.jpg 16:14, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I got a screen of the said Zunraa being called Kirin, just by chance. Here are the links: 12 -- Rip Attitude 82.120.98.56 18:41, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
For me, it's Zunraa. Might be due to time/possible patch? Or that the character I was on was not made in factions. No idea, but definitely Zunraa. 75.0.186.25 08:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

I have found Zunraa named Kirin before. Today. Weird...I wound of made screenshots of it, but I forgot how to do it.Eryops3 20:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Zunraa gets stuck?[edit]

It's the first time this has ever happened to me, but the Zunraa got stuck in a plant. Was this a one-time glitch or has it happened to any of you guys before? –User Balistic Pve B d-dark.jpgalistic 17:46, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Out of Order?[edit]

Today i did this and the malisma quest points were very screwy. First two were normal, then it directed me to the library (end point with evil kirin) and worked backwords until it meet up with the 3rd point. It then finished the far back points in normal mission order ending with killing the evil kirin. Was hoping after the first two points I could finish quest right then and there. Nope, still had to clear all the malisma before evil kirin spawned :-( Justice 03:02, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

- This also just happened to me...I have no idea what is going on. Must be some kind of super-rare glitch or bug? --92.16.28.171 21:58, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Requirements[edit]

I was trying to get this quest for ages but it only became available to me after completing the Zen Daijun mission. I think it should be noted in "Requirements" that you need to "Have Completed Zen Daijun" if that is actually the case. User Tytan Crow Crow.jpg Titan Crow 09:37, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I notice that this has been removed from requirements, was there a reason for this? User Tytan Crow Crow.jpg Titan Crow 16:57, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
The mission or quests that are required to be completed before being able to accept a quest is noted in the infobox. --Silver Edge 21:20, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
