You can farm these guys with the quest to get dyes The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.190.172.163 (talk • contribs) 06:58, 5 February 2008 (UTC).

Even though it says try not to aggro them all at once, if you aggro one of them, they all attack you (tested with a longbow, hit one and they all charged ta me) Crimmastermind 09:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

The Tall Shield which this quest rewards is actually a little bit more valuable than it may seem. The magical '+10 armor vs. Charr' effect should stack with the Vanguard Initiate effect you receive when doing Lieutenant Langmar's Vanguard Quests, while the shield's standard armor rating of 4 will not stack with the effect. The additional armor rating is nice when fighting the buffed-up foes that the Vanguard Quests offer. ~ A R A ~ 02:24, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Oops, sorry. Didn't read the 'Anomaly' note on Lieutenant Langmar's page until after I posted. Disregard my previous comment! ~ A R A ~ 02:26, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

How to do it for those with low-level characters[edit]

High level characters can play it any way they want, but low levels have to be careful. Here's the best way to go about it:

(1) Ignore all advice about only aggroing a few: they will all attack, and you may have to kill all of them to get the strongbox, even if they don't all attack you.

(2) Use your fire imp. After your brain, he is your best weapon in this quest. for How do you use him? The technique is simple. Aggro something with a ranged weapon, preferably a bow, then pull back, way back, or, put another way, run away and let your imp handle them.

(3) Start from the Abbey.

(4) Clear all the worms from the field before starting. You will also have to clear out any wolves. This is to keep your imp from being distracted. If you can't handle the wolves, just aggro them and run away, letting your imp deal with them.

(5) Aggro the bandit raiders. There are two groups of these, each group of two linked together. After aggroing them, run towards the guard at the gate of the Abbey. They are somewhat afraid of the guard. If they follow you and the guard is activated, they will run away. If you aggro them after this, they will come after you despite the guard, but he will then fight them and he is tough.

(6) Check the radar screen. If the Bandit Blood Sworn women are closer to you than the brigands, then aggro them just as you did the bandit raiders. If, however, a group of brigands is near, then change your method slightly. Approach the brigands so that there is not a ridge that will get in the way of the imp, that is, approach them from the side. Just stand there and wait until you here the imp 'warming up' to his attack and then run away. They won't come after you, but you may accidentally aggro the bandit blood sworn or another bandit raider, so run towards the guard at the Abbey gate (see 5 above).

(7) After the imp takes care of the brigands, if the bandit blood sworn are still around, then aggro them as if they were bandit raiders (see 5 above).

(8) You will now have cleared the camp. Get the strongbox and take it to Devona. --La Visiteuse 18:19, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
