Talk:Capturing the Signet of Capture

I've always wondered (but never remembered to check) - can this quest be repeated and abandoned, thus giving unlimited cap sigs? You know, take the quest; capture a skill; abandon quest; rinse and repeat? --Snograt 12:53, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

A guild mate of mine get the signet, abandoned and reset the area. The quest resets but you don't get the initial signet again. So, that's a no to unlimited signets - Furyan Acolyte

Requirements

It was said earlier that you needed level 20 to get this quest, but I got it at level 18 when I reached the quest "a hero shall lead them" so I have changed the notes until anyone else can provide input.--86.16.123.192 11:44, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Further Requirements

Regardless of it possibly being common knowledge or not, my Factions character is seemingly unable to get this quest, I suggest that it be noted that you have to be a Nightfall character to get this quest, for the sake of not making myself look like an idiot before adding the note though, if anyone could confirm if their Factions or Prophecies characters have been able to get this quest, I would appreciate it. Most likely you just hadn't done the Factions version (nor the Prophecies version) before accepting this one. As far as I know, once you do one the others are locked out (same thing that happens after completing one of the quests that unlocks Boreal Station). Kruhljak (talk) 16:24, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Objectives

Yet More Requirements

Jonah isn't giving me the quest. I'm a paragon, so that isn't the issue. When I approached him I had Hunted! active and he didn't off any quest after the dialogue. Once I cleared out the Sanctuary, he only gave me Melonni's Meditations and nothing else.
