What has "Desolation" and "Desolace" have in common? (What is even "Desolace"?^^) "Desolation" simply refers to the region where it can be found as loot, so there are most likely no hidden specials about the name of this sword. —ZerphaThe Improver 12:38, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Since external links don't work like internal ones, I believe the intended link was Desolace. If it were a more obscure word, I would think The Desolation is the intended reference, as they seem similar. However, the similarity stops at the name, I think, since the Wow area is populated by many species, while the Desolation we know is actually desolate.
