Species?[edit]

I was unsure, so I set it as undead - but would species be minion in this case? AT(talk | contribs) 01:02, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Fleshy undead. Minion is more a subtype of undead I would say, or just a classification. If you interested in helping to organise species, you might be interested in the proposals currently underway in Talk:Species. -- ab.er.rant sig 01:27, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Aren;t theire monsters which don't have masters which are flesh Golems? SystemisFlawed

Level 31[edit]

Why isn't there any data for a level 31 Flesh Golem?--DNA 19:27, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Good question... 31 and 33 are mysteriously missing! Although that might have something to do with the difficulty of reaching a death magic level high enough to get flesh golems with levels like that to do extensive research into their statistics. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 22:47, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Hm, yes, I found the answer to the question. As a side note, I'm an idiot for not checking things out thoroughly before answering. Flesh golem levels are determined by your death magic level, but they go up by 2 levels for every death magic level you have. So it's impossible to get level 31 or 33 golems, as well as a whole bunch of other levels of flesh golem, because they simply don't exist. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 22:54, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Level 31 Flesh Golems do exist, I have a screenshot of one. Don't know how to get it on here though. Patterson 00:39, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure how useful this method is, but the way I do it is to bring a hero with Animate Flesh Golem, and equip Masochism, Aura of the Lich, and Arcane Mimicry myself.69.249.223.63 06:53, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

The Table[edit]

That table is huge and it's messing the wiki's layout. Since the most popular lvl of the golem is till lvl 28, can't we have the table till that level and put the rest of the levels in the notes section? --MageUser MageMontu sig.pngMontu 23:04, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

damage type[edit]

Theoretically we could find out what damage type it uses, setup a 1v1 vs a sin using 3 armor sets, each having a +10vs slashing/blunt/pierce type then have him run in a circle letting the golem crit him, find out what armor set reduces it the most and presto, you have your damage type. I hope. I'd do it but its almost 12:30 here and I'm off to bed, plus I don't have a necro on my acct with flesh golem. Weaponmaster 07:21, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

That's a pretty good thought. I'll see if I can get around to testing that this week. ··· cedave 15:25, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
I would say, they may deal Slashing Damage?.MystiLefemEle 08:39, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Move[edit]

are there any objections? the tags been up for a couple months now, so if no one thinks the move shouldn't happen, might as well get on with it. ··· cedave 15:26, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd agree with the move, as the other minions (Shambling Horror, Bone Horror, etc.) follow a similar format. I'll try to move it soon (but that table beign so far down is really annoying me!) ~Celestia 07:30, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Tonic[edit]

Why isn't there a Flesh Golem tonic? I would kill for it. --Aldarik 20:56, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Haha, kill for it, i get it. Zungx 21:03, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
It's funny because minions are dead! :D Harrier C. Goodman talk 21:44, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Comparison[edit]

So, a Ritualist with rank 16 Spawning Power and rank 12 Death Magic should have a lvl 21 Flesh Golem with 815 health, 95 armor, that deals 50-105 dmg per hit. Meanwhile, a Necromancer with rank 16 Death Magic would have a lvl 26 Flesh Golem with 600 Health, 117 armor, that deals 58-131 dmg per hit. That's a difference of 23 armor (a dmg multiplier of .6713), 215 health, and 8-26 dmg per hit.

I'm wondering: Beyond all the Profession-related bonuses (Bloodstained Insignias, Minion Master Insignias, Boon of Creation, etc.), which one is more worth it, assuming its worth it to even use a Flesh Golem in the first place? ~ A R A ~ 03:10, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Charr Animation?[edit]

I was playing Warband of Brothers and one of my flesh golems was fighting a charr bladestorm and i saw that the flesh golem and the charr fought the same way. The Flesh golem swung its bone(if thats what it is) at the charr and brought it back. And the Charr did the exact same thing. SO do they use the same animations or something? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Rowler (talk).

As the trivia point mentions yes. I'll see if I can clarify it. Backsword 22:27, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Random[edit]

Damage in HM[edit]

My elementalist got hit for 225 damage by a Flesh Golem in WiK in HM. A critical hit would hit for 171*1.42=243.

Super Flesh Golem[edit]

Lately, on and off, I've been trying to make a super flesh golem. What is a super flesh golem? A flesh golem with minimal health degen, more damage, and more defenses. I've been looking at upkeep skills and enchantments: Vital Blessing (+Hp) , Watchful Spirit (+2regen) , Mending (+3regen) , Succor (+1regen) , Strength of Honor (+damage) , Greath Dwarf's Weapon (+Damage & Knockdown)

Anyone wanna contribute to my project? --Eclipse143 06:39, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

I've had friends that put Brutal Weapon on their Flesh Golem and it would hit like a freight train. I don't have any numbers to show, but that is something that I know is effective.--Oh Noes, Ritualist Extraordinaire 17:45, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
On second thought, Great Dwarf's Weapon would be better because you don't have to put attribute points into Communing.--Oh Noes, Ritualist Extraordinaire 17:46, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
Super indeed!!! on a vanquish run in Gyala a flesh golem from a hero decided to attack an assassin on top of the airship... it seems him swinging at air did indeed kill that which was 2-3 stories directly above his location Durp da durp 03:20, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
That's because the Z-axis allows anyone to attack foes above or below them, such as on a bridge. --Silver Edge 07:23, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
Lol... i kinda figured that Z-axis was ignored in many cases, but, am still surprised that it is indeed true... cause lets face it here does not equal there and melee dmg really probably shouldn't in effect say "well... you are directly underneath so i'll just pretend you are indeed also indeed in any possible location above and below yourself" Durp da durp 04:24, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Has Flesh Golen changed?[edit]

I've noticed that on my MM that instead of a flesh golem leaving an exploited corpse if it was replaced by another flesh golem while still alive, as it's done since it was introduced, it is now leaving an UNexploited corpse. Anyone else seeing this? Furry psyfox 21:19, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
