Update[edit]
Opted out of a skill balance to up the k-value? Ew. Karate Jesus 23:03, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Also, YAY A NEW (recycled) TONIC THAT NO ONE HAS ZKEYS TO GET! Excuse my caps. Karate Jesus 23:04, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- You know there are other means to get ZKeys than just mat's ;) [sarcasm]Also Yay you just boost your rank more quickly... great...[/sarcasm] --SilentStorm 23:07, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yayyyyyyyyyyy~! People who grind ranks can now do it faster, and people who aren't involved can now fall behind faster~! Great idea. =^-^= ~Ryuu[ Talk|Contributions ] 23:13, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Bloodspike didn't need a buff... ~Shard 23:17, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

- ^ lol. Should we add a note that RPs are still not being distributed? Or does it even matter anymore? Karate Jesus 23:18, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- @Sloh: Yes it did.
- @KJesus: Are they supposed to be in this update? ~Shard 23:21, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- I guess not, but was anyone expecting anything in this update? I sure as hell wasn't expecting anything....so I guess I got what I expected. Karate Jesus 23:22, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- I was expecting a shadow form and wail of doom buff, tbh. --Jette 23:23, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- @Karate: No adding a note would be redundant.
- @Shard: No they werent. DrogoBoffin 23:24, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- @Shard: How exactly did bloodspike get a buff? Skills weren't even touched in this update. And if you're referring to the k-value change, it's impartial to your build. Just not seeing it. 208.125.194.60 00:18, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Wait, what does K-value mean exactly? DOes it mean the amount of points you earn for every rated match won? or is it the max cap you can earn for each consecutive win you get? From what I know, you only win 1 Champion and Commander point for each win, no matter the consective (unless I'm missing something). Info would help, thanks. --173.9.211.149 01:44, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- It's really not that hard to follow:
- 100% of teams in Rated GvGs farm with BloodSpike.
- Farming reaps rating much faster now.
- See how that works?
- The K-value is a part of the formula that determines the rating gain/loss per match. Higher K-value means more points won/lost. ~Shard 01:57, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Life steal is a worst idea in this game, especially when they can spam it. This gay issue still exists unless they really want fix bspike shit. sad champion farming age.--紅茶喵._. 06:09, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah Blood Magic needs less spiking and more utility, but I doubt we're gonna see that any time soon. 82.3.254.219 08:31, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Don't you ever learn?[edit]
Skill update please. SKILL UPDATE PLEASE! (can I make myself any more clear?) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:71.169.144.214 (talk).

- Even a bug fix would be nice. Signet of Spirits perhaps. 99.144.225.82 23:33, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- While the game does have a lot of broken stuff that has to be addressed, Arena Net does have a point in that the last balance update was a few days ago. There are lists of skills that need to be nerfed and/or fixed, but changing a lot of stuff at once rarely does work. Erasculio 23:35, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

- And if you haven't played it, it's still pretty simple to understand: Skills have bugs (you know what i mean with bugs here, do you?), some skills are overpowered like this one. Those are usually the reasons. And Arenanet has done many skill updates lately which have made many skills bugged ("Brace Yourself!" (PvP) caused people to crash after it got an update, but they fixed that). I don't wanna list everything here :D - J.P.Talk 20:24, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Guild Wars is 4 years old and Arena Net couldn't make this game balanced ? In 4 (four) years ?? I don't know what to say... 213.233.92.218 13:32, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- 4 years ago, it was balanced. The problem is that we seem to be regressing development. However, I will say that the most recent balance was surprisingly pleasant... it didn't come anywhere near fixing all the problems, but it stamped out quite a few, and that is more than I can say for the past year and a half (or more) before it. --Jette 15:24, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

So...[edit]
Can we expect RPs in the next few years or so? Or is this another plan by ANet to cleverly reduce the number of people that want to buy GBuild Wars 2? --Gah_ 23:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Also, really anything would be nice. I'd prefer actual functionality changes (i.e. bug fixes) rather than RPs anyway... --Gah_ 23:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

No skill update, but what about a Bug Fix[edit]
There are several bugs introduced since their last skill update, they could have a least fix them. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 00:41, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

FA NEF I wouldn't call it "fix" but yeah they nerf the colunms/beam where you dont usually get hit 1) inner gates 2) portal near outer gates when the turtle shoots you get hit even though you're hiding.--Ridz16 05:24, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Epic. Fucking. Fail.[edit]
Just so I'm clear, after reading the above section... all this did was replace the tonic of the month? lmao, can't believe I even bothered restarting Guild Wars for this. --Gah_ 21:14, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

- @Halo: Yes, it's all about what they want. They don't care what we think is wrong in this game. Perma (in some cases 600/smite) takes away all the challenge from the game.I call these 2 methods Boringway. Sure it's fun at first to see how easy many areas are with these, but nowdays you can't find a group to do hard areas in Funway. GvG Tournament Rotation[edit]
Tolkano lists the maps in this order: Warrior, Druid, Uncharted, Corrupted, Meditation. But my guild just played this order: Mediation, Bye, Uncharted, Corrupted, and then finished. In addition, the people in the first match were also confused. Albrect Karew 01:13, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Should we add that as an update note too, or do you think Anet is embarrassed enough as is? --Gah_ 16:04, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Guild Wars dried up![edit]
It's been a month since the last update, no content added and no news about adding new Content in August (even though it is 4 months after the April Update). Hello? I Anet still there? do they remember that they have a game called Guild Wars? MarioDX 14:43, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- spoiled... yep you heard me... i'm sure an update will come in time... until then I'm still enjoying the content add from the last few updates... sit back... relax... but yer if it goes on for a drastic ammount of time I'd start to get concerned.... bout the only thing that makes my eyebrow raise on this time is the comment that we would be more informed about the updates, yet that has not happened... I remember the days when ya would buy software and WYSIWYG, no such thing as the internet to update anything MrPaladin talk 14:50, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've heard that they PLAN to have a skill "balance" update in Thursday, tomorrow. But i don't think it's official.
- And by the way, i think they said they only do monthly updates for now. They do updates between that if THEY think it's necessary or something is broken (in technical level -.-) - J.P.Talk 15:00, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
