This article doesn't make it absolutely clear -- do only Elonian characters ascend after completing this quest, or can a character from any campaign ascend via this quest? --Mme. Donelle 14:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Nightfall characters only. I'll go clarify the note. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 14:53, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

We got up to the part with Guardsman Bahsi, but he says we can't continue as it is to dangerous? Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug or something?

I had the same problem. Is there some sort of anti-running thing going on? I had a warrior who already completed the quest run me there, while I had the quest Hunted!. Yet the guard said it was too dangerous, and didn't allow us to enter. Bug or anti-running?--67.60.9.85 20:01, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Lvl 20 Req[edit]

I don't have access to the game right now, but is the note (last rev) about needing to be lvl 20 to change professions true? --JonTheMon 16:52, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Spam Spam Spam[edit]

Why does it *always* have to do something with sex? And seriously, night elf nude fan art? wtf File:User Horsedrowner avatar.jpg horsedrowner 18:32, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Because some people out there think that porn is the holy grail of human culture, and the Internet is its best iteration. Of course, these are most often those who... nah, it's too obvious. Suffice it to say that it comes from the demographic whose experiences (or lack thereof) lead them to this twisted conclusion. This leads me to wonder why linkspamming hasn't been made a felony in the US and an equivalent crime elsewhere. It's a mark of the Internet devil! OK, I'm done with this rant. Hope no one took me seriously! --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 18:39, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up. lol File:User Horsedrowner avatar.jpg horsedrowner 19:21, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Seriously, though, I think we should get this protected from IPs. Last good IP edit was last year. --Chaiyo Kaldor חיו 16:45, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

How is this like ascending?[edit]

I mean THe toehr two have you do things to become "ascended"? I can see how facing down four celestrial creatures or a mystical doppleganger woudl help you to become "ascended" but why woudl finding a sanctuary do that?

Lore-wise, it's not. Your character doesn't achieve enlightenment, or reach any mystical state of mind. Gameplay-wise, however, it's at the point where you are expected to be experienced enough with your character to reach the realms of the gods.--User Pyron Sy sig.png Pyron Sy 16:28, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Lore-wise, you've become the leader of the Sunspears, with the next few missions having you establish a foothold in Kourna and regrouping your scattered forces. You've attained a position of power and responsibility, it marks a point of maturation for your character, much like ascension or becoming weh no su. - Cymril 02:23, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

50,000XP Ascension bonus wasted?[edit]

Let me get this straight: At least for a Prophecies character, completing this mission (or Nahpui Quarter), prior to Ascending via the Augury Rock mission, voids that mission's 50,000XP Ascension bonus, even if it's your first time through that mission? If this is true, shouldn't it be very clearly noted on both this and NQ's mission page? The Augury Rock mission page makes note that the award is not granted if you've done H! or NQ already, however, no such info is present on the H! or NQ mission pages to warn people to strongly consider Ascending via AR first. Merely mentioning these two missions are equivalent to Ascending doesn't act as a warning for this purpose.

Well, two things in my mind. A), edit it if you feel right. B) unless you're paying 1 plat per skill, going for survivor with this quest as a start, or not level 20, I don't really see this as too big a hindrance. I mean, sure it is very nice. But it doesn't really add anything to the game afer a while if those three things don't entice you enough. To each his own, of course. Don't forget to sign btw. 63.117.247.103 07:27, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Capping Boss (paragon) skill[edit]

No one mention about capping the Paragon boss skill? This should be added.

Eshau is noted on the Secure the Refuge (the mini-mission part of the quest where he actually appears) page, crosslinked in the walkthrough. (Side note: sign your comments using four tildes at the end.) Kruhljak (talk) 05:14, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Alternative route to Ronjok[edit]

An addition to the Notes: the direct route from Yohlon Haven to Ronjok is quite long and has a lot of foes on the road. There is an easier and shorter way from Dajkah Inlet outpost, which becomes accessible after the Consulate Docks mission. Return to Kamadan and talk to Dockmaster Ahlaro who will transfer your party directly to Dajkah. Then fill the party up of 8, exit to Marga Coast and run directly to Ronjok. You will meet only a few plants and insects on the road.
