Talk:Minister Cho's Estate

Disambiguation says location, main body text seems to be for the mission, notes say how many foes to vanquish? Is it the page or the people adding to that are confused. 81.151.117.25 21:00, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Farm[edit]

I'm really not clear on the meaning of "farm" here. One to five platinum from drops in normal mode... I can't imagine that. And in hard mode I question whether a SS necro could clear the area. Perhaps the SS means something other than Spiteful Spirit. Possibly a 55-health build? In any case, this section could use some clarification. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 14:53, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

the child[edit]

the poor defenceless child running during the mission in HM is actually level 20 , should it be noted? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:92.7.0.94 (talk).

Almost every NPC is buffed to at least lvl 20 in hardmode. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 02:59, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but it's still kind of funny... I guess maybe even a level 20 would be considered defenseless if it's alone in the middle of a hard mode mission. --RoyHarmon 14:33, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Togo and Yijo in Hard Mode[edit]

When I recently re-did it they are like tanks! They don't seem to take much damage from the HM creatures. Whereas normal AL60 heroes and henches get smashed in comparison. It's possible to get masters if you just let them do the tanking. Just make sure you go to that silly tree area when they start talking about the compass or you'll waste time.

I've noticed that, before they sucked for awhile, but when i recently did this mission in HM i feared that Yijo would get killed as he wandered away. i ran up to him and he had a pile of bodies around him with full health. 71.109.112.157 18:45, 28 July 2010 (UTC) GasMaster

All I get is two morons that keep running ahead and dying. It seems they are more impatient in HM for me than in normal mode.Ravion Hawk 06:22, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Teleports[edit]

You can use Necrotic Traversal/Consume Corpse to skip the "tutorial sections", though the gates won't open if you haven't done what you need to. Thus, your party will be left behind (I was particularly amused at the fact that Jora kept dying due to a vampiric weapon), but the intermediate cutscene will bring the party back together. Just wanted to note this. --Gah_ 16:59, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Quote[edit]

  • Yijo Tahn: "What is that? Some sort of feathered demon?!"
  • Master Togo: "I believe it is a bird."

Anyone else find this quote to be way too funny Talamare 06:12, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Edit[edit]

I'm editing the "bug" and changing it to a note, "Some of the Sickened Guards do not attack until first hit with an attack." there is only one group of soldiers that seems to occur with frequently, and they don't attack until Master Togo is in range (During the tutorial section advising the party to wait for the group of enemies to split up)70.91.196.85 16:54, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

..Crane?[edit]

Notice that all the animals are afflicted BUT the random crane is FINE. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 173.33.108.215 (talk).

R.I.P. fourth wall[edit]

This still irritates me the most about this mission. – NuclearDuckie 05:40, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Cartography[edit]

How do map out the section to the North East of the the Estate. I can't find anyway to get around the closed gates. Do you have to have a Factions character to access that part?Kyle Vleck 03:51, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

You need to be in the explorable area (entered from Ran Musu Gardens) rather than the mission. Ran Musu is only accessible once you've completed the Minister Cho's Estate mission, regardless of what campaign your character is from. --Wormwood 03:59, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Non-Canthans[edit]

How does a non-Canthan get this mission to begin with? I have it active as a Z mission, but cannot figure out how to get it started, Master Togo will not cooperate with me because I am a Tyrian.

Please help. User Bloody Riz Riz-grog.jpg Bloody Riz (talk) 18:47, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Nevermind, figured it out. Got into the estate and got it started. User Bloody Riz Riz-grog.jpg Bloody Riz (talk) 18:54, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
