Um... what the hell is with the icon? Blown out beyond belief (like skill icons in non outposts). I hope it's a bug and not intentional. Previously Unsigned 02:58, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Grapes[edit]

Fucking purple weapons. 184.6.45.241 04:23, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

As if the color is important for the effectiveness of your set-up. --93.197.87.101 07:20, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
All of the skins are on the rare side, and a few of them don't even exist in this configuration (e.g. the fan is a weapon). They're nice if you've been looking for good ones since the start of Factions. SarielV 20 x 20px 16:16, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Wait and see[edit]

Another member of the guild I'm in thinks there are better things coming than purple weapons. I'm going to wait and see. Ramei Arashi 04:31, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

My question is...I'm afraid that the Ministerial Commendations will not be like the MoH were in the sense that I fear that there will be a new trophy to be collected for the Imperial weapons. Currently I'm saving mine just in case, but it may turn out that the ministerial commendations only go to the current new set of weapons and we have to collect something new entirely for the Imperial ones. (Usaf1a8xx 20:07, 14 July 2011 (UTC))

Can someone upload some pictures please 04:53:, 8 July 2011(UTC)

Yes, other weapons are coming. Imperial weapons were mentioned on the website. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 05:40, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Wow, they are NOT even reskins --87.223.102.187 18:42, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Safe to assume[edit]

now that pt 2 is out, i think that everyone is safe in assuming that the imperial weapons are going to be purchased with the imperial guard requisition orders and not these ministerial commendations so you can go ahead and spend them freely on rare skins such as the fans and dual wield jitte daggerz!!! 03:41, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

Unless they act as Confessor's Orders and can be traded in for Imperial Requisition Orders. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 04:36, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
I'm with Musha. It's possible that ANet has seen the feedback about these (and/or intended all along) to offer other rewards, perhaps kits (which I could make better use of) or trade-ups or some type of present. I'm not in any rush to turn mine in. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:54, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
somewhere on wiki, and i cant remember where, but there was a link to stumme saying that these were only for the purity weapons as something you can get untill the imperial weapons were released, just so you had something to collect and get and there was no need to save them. if anyone can help me find the link would be much appreciated  :)Spark-TBa 11:14, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
nvm, here we go.[1].Spark-TBa 11:17, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
That only says that the other items will not use Ministerial Commendations. It does not convince me that Ministerial Commendations won't be used as a trade-up of some kind. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 17:20, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Missing mission[edit]

Could someone add "Cleansing Haiju Lagoon" to the list? It comes after Rescue at Minister Cho's Estate and does reward a commendation Foxy Hood 14:04, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Zaishen Vanquish[edit]

You know, these should be added as a bonus reward for Zaishen Vanquishes for Canthan Areas where Winds of Change is active (*BONUS* Complete in Winds of Change), just to give some incentive for doing the Zaishen Vanquishes in the far harder Winds of Change areas compared to the regular Canthan areas (yes I know right now there is no way to switch between the two, and because the rewards currently aren't worth it, many players don't bother starting Winds of Change), especially as because right now there is no bonus objectives for Zaishen Vanquish quests. They could do the same for the War in Kryta areas too (but reward a Medal of Honor instead), albeit those tend to be a bit easier than those in Winds of Change.

Getting one of these as a reward for vanquishing Canthan areas under Winds of Change makes perfect sense from a fluff-perspective too (What with the Ministry of Purity's dedication to eradicating anything remotely threatening in Cantha).82.11.226.30 20:08, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

you do know that ministerial commendations are only for purity weapons (see the safe to assume section above), maybe requisition orders would make me think differently, but for commendations i wouldnt do the vanquishes with the harder foes as i dont think the rewards would be worth the effort put in for the foes in question.Spark-TBa 23:02, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Ran Ti, Fashion Designer![edit]

ran ti, fashion designer, is now available for trading in 3 of those puppies for an imperial guard requisition order (yay). idk if you have to beat the WoC content to unlock her, but she is now sitting in my KC (next to the mat trader and the herald of purity)... soooo this should be added to the collectors section pronto! 06:13, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

ohhh! also there is now a mr. Zha Ku, baker [extraordinaire], who turns one of these treats into a free sugar rush, good for who knows how many spammable sweet points! ^^ yours truely, 06:19, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

drop rate[edit]

main page says these drop from ministry foes, does anyone know what the drop rate is, cause i havent had one yet  :)Spark-TBa 19:04, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

They're not as common as regular trophies, but they're not as rare as Anguish gems or anything of that nature. You'll see them drop more often if you're in a team of all humans, since the heroes won't eat and hide the drop. –Jette 20:35, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
I got one going through part 3 and I had like one before during parts 1 and 2. --JonTheMon 20:38, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
@Spark: it's very hard to determine drop rates from foe deaths (it takes a lot of data; we don't even have it for D-chalices). (@Jette: how can heroes eat and then hide their drops? Seems an either/or proposition, rather like Marie Antoinette's cake)Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:42, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
ty for quick responces, i dont think ill go killing ministry people jsut to get some yet then :PSpark-TBa 20:43, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Well, if you consider heroes to be dogs, what do you have to take care of when you take a dog walking? --JonTheMon 20:45, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Having done both DoA and WoC a lot, I dare say that these drops are a LOT more rare than Anguish gems. I have had exactly 6 of these drop for me in 10 full WoC completions.Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 22:11, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
I'll trade you my 67 commendations if you get me 67 Titan gems. –Jette 03:28, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
How noble of you, but as I've had 270 commendations as quest rewards besides the 6 that have dropped, I think I'll just hang on to my 85 Titan gems. --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 17:37, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Farming[edit]

Is there a way to farm these after you've done everything in WoC? I haven't seen them in any explorable areas. razor39999 14:38, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

they do drop from WoC foes as I've had a few myself, the issue with farming these is that enemy bars vary so there is no way to predict what build to take.Spark-TBa 06:39, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I know they drop from Ministry foes, but what I'm asking is if there are any Ministry mobs after all the quests are done? All I get are scavengers in Shing Jea and WoC-skillbar Am Fah/Jade Bro's in Kaineng. I haven't bumped into any Ministry mobs since finishing the quest lines. razor39999 16:57, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
i got one from the enemies in sunjiang district explorable, so maybe try thereSpark-TBa 17:40, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
I'm a tiny bit late to answer this, but the best and probably only farm for this is during the quest A Chance Encounter. There is a spot where you can ball them up and take them out with 100b or VoS. Drop rates are nothing amazing though (roughly 1 commendation per 3-5 minutes). --DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 09:08, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
