My friend has 26/25 of Tyria missions since the update. - BeXoR 03:10, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

Can we see a screenshot? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:80.43.156.97 .

Many others have reported this same issue since, if you were doubting whether it's true or not. If you simply are curious what 26/25 looks like and are having trouble visualizing it, just think of 25/25 but with a 6 instead of the first 5. That's somewhat similar to what 26/25 looks like. --Dirigible 23:31, 9 April 2007 (EDT)
It's fixed now anyway. - BeXoR 23:50, 9 April 2007 (EDT)

Protector of Elona[edit]

Am i right in thinking there are more than 20 missions? I counted 19 out of the vortex and 3 inside ( not counting elite) 2 of the ones on istan are not part of the primary if you are not native but do these still count. I havent done one of them so tomorrow I will check and see if it adds. --Demonthorn 22:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

List of Nightfall missions. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 15:37, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Can non-Elonian characters get the Protector of Elonia Title? There are 20 missions listed but these include the first three, prior to foreigners entering the story line. I have completed 13 of the missions at master standard, (including the first three which I went back to do) but my titles list only gives 10 of 20 missions completed so I assume that the first three don't count which leaves me with only 17 available. How do I get the other 3? Moebius the Malign 19:32, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes non Elonians can get the title. There are ways to do the 3 starter missions on the island which are on their respective mission pages. --Lania Elderfire 19:40, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
He "went back to do" the starter missions, apparently, so he's missing the missions that correspond with the heroes he didn't take. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 19:48, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Unless he means he had to do the first three over again to get Masters? Hmm... One or the other, though. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 19:51, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I think he meant the starter missions... but yeah reading it again it's a bit unclear which he's referring to :-/ --Lania Elderfire 20:07, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I think he's missing both at this point, plus four others that he hasn't completed at Masters level at all. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 20:15, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Well in anycase maybe this will be helpful for him. List of Nightfall missions.--Lania Elderfire 20:20, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry if my entry waasn't clear. As a Tyrian character I came into Nightfall and started the missions at Consulate Docks. I have completed all the missions (but not all at Masters level) and have gone back and completed the two which were alternatives - 7a and 10a - for me. I have also completed the first three, Chabek Village, Jokanur Diggings and Blacktide Den. So far I have completed 13 of the 20 missions at masters and there are 13 mission outposts with crossed swords on the map, but my Elonian Protector Title Track is showing only 10 of 20 missions completed and not 13. I am probably being extremely dense but what is the problem? Help would be much appreciated. Moebius the Malign 14:40, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Are you sure all of the 13 you are counting have 2 swords and a spear going through it? If it's just crossed swords it's not masters. Does that answer your question? ^_^; --Lania Elderfire 15:48, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Enlightenment at last!!! You are quite right, not all have spears. I was just going on EoN where there is just crossed swords. many, many thanks :=) Moebius the Malign 16:50, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Protector of Cantha[edit]

Is it possible for non-canthan pcs to complete the 2 Shing Jea Missions Minister Cho's Estate and Zen Daijun and thus get the Canthan Protector Title? Didnt find any reference to the fact that visitors are not allowed to enter those mission outposts. --Poorfool 18:59, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

(moved new section to bottom)
You can just walk to those locations and go do them. You're not prevented to do so, otherwise no one will ever be able to get Legendary Guardian. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 02:06, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Right, non-canthan are just not allowed in Zen Daijun after the quest To Zen Daijun even tho they are in a team with someone who has the quest. --Poorfool 18:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

But once you've done the quest, you can just map travel... Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 02:40, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Yesterday, I had 9/13 missions on master (all were at least completed on expert) and I looked on my map to see which were not done on master. I found them - Nahpui Quarter, Imperial Sanctum and Raisu Palace. Today, I did them ALL on master and I even checked on the map to make sure I had, even though it said (that I got master) at the end of the missions...but in my Hero panel, it still says 12/13 missions completed on master! - I've done all three! Why is this and how can I solve this problem? :)Lythia 18:57, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Erm... If you had 9/13, you were missing four, not three. Only one more to go though! -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 19:01, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
What about Unwaking Waters? You need to do both the Kurzick and Luxon side. Even though it's exactly the same mission. piper doesn't talk 19:04, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't believe that to be true. There are thirteen missions required, but if you did Unwaking Waters twice, that would be 14. She's probably missing either the Kurzick or Luxon specific mission (The Eternal Grove or Gyala Hatchery). ETA: Here's the List of Factions missions and primary quests. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 19:07, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Yes, you are right. Forget what I said. So it's either Gyala Hatchery or The Eternal Grove. piper doesn't talk 19:11, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Oh, my. Why did I think that the difference between 9 and 13 is 3? I must be so tired! Thank you for pointing that out to me! Yes, I probably haven't done one of them so I'll get onto that right away. Lythia 19:22, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Tyrian missions[edit]

Can you complete the mission, and then go back and do the bonus for it to count towards this title? Seeing as how proph bonuses are quests in themselves. 61.69.24.43 06:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes, You can do the Main mission and the bonus separately. (Ixillius 18:52, 18 January 2009 (UTC))

If you complete a mission in Hard Mode in Prophecies, does that count as mission completion in Normal Mode? In other words, if you complete the mission objective in Hard Mode and the bonus objective in Normal Mode, does that mission count as fully completed for the Protector of Tyria title? IIRC any level of completion in hard mode provides in Factions or Nightfall provides mission completion credit, but doesn't provide Expert or Master credit. -- User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 05:03, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Steps for Protector[edit]

The way I see it, there is only one guide you need to follow in order to get this title, the three P's. The first P is Pulling. If there is a large mob, it is quicker in the long run to pull them of and deal with them in small groups, rather than rush in and die. The second P is Ping. Make sure you have the right build for the job. Every build has its strengths and weaknesses. There is no point bringing Searing Flames Eles to fight against titans, it just wont work, water eles would work twice as well in that situation. Against other enemies such as Plants, the Searing Flames Build will work much better that the water ele. The last, but by no means least P, is Patience. After every battle, if you and you party need to regen, do it. In the long run, having more energy will make a fight much quicker than if you had run in with nothing. By following those three easy steps, getting the Protector and Guardian titles will be a breeze. Flaming hot chilli 04:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
