The Protector title tracks are an indication of a character's completion of all primary and secondary objectives of all missions in a campaign. There are separate title single-tiered tracks for each of the campaigns. The missions must be completed in normal mode. These titles can be displayed in the "Honor" monument.
You will earn the title Protector of Tyria once you complete both the primary and secondary objective of all 25 missions on the continent of Tyria.
