Talk:Rabbit
I hear the GWEN rabbit can be tamed... But look out if you go for it... It is not as easy as it looks... Cibi 09:50, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- Look to this for a warning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcxKIJTb3Hg Nub 23:12, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have checked over the weekend. If it is tamable, it must be later on, because I tried to tame one in Drakkar Lake, and it said it wasn't an animal. And I mean, besides being cute, it would have no purpose to have a pet that can't attack :P -- troy frostwind 20:40, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Can't attack?? Ever pissed one off? The ones in the cave (Worthy Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)) attacked me when the vaettirs were spawned. They are fierce little mongrels and although I can't say whether they did any damage they DID run at me and JUMP at me when they became aggro'd.
- I really hope ANet will make them tamable because they are just so darn cute. -- 62.143.100.27 19:41, 3 September 2007 (UTC) (Masozi Kamau / Emi Nayamoto)
Rabbits are both fuzzy and cute! -Warskull 04:00, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Easter egg?[edit]
The pre-searing rabbit could be considered an easter egg because it's hard to find and only appears in one place (unlike the ones in GWEN which I have seen in at least two areas). This would be a double pun because "real" easter eggs are laid/hidden by the Easter Bunny, i.e. a rabbit. Wasn't the pre-Searing rabbit near a frog or something, too? -- 62.143.100.27 19:52, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Not really an easter egg since it's not a joke or anything.. bunnies aren't going to have appearances to be called an easter egg. --Blast 22:37, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
- It's just pre-Searins bunny. It's like the Bees in Sancnoth. Just an NPC hanging around there. And easter egg would be something out of place, like having Wyrt, the Peg-legged boy on a dark corner somewhere in the game, or a hidden functionality like a hidden tab in the hero panel in which you can play tic-tac-toe. GWEN[edit]
there is a rabbit in pre and one in post searing^^ did anyone notice anything with gwen in his group going to the furtive one in the drakkar lake? Zerpha The Improver 16:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes they belong to Worthy Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap) and they got drops :D --AntiLamer 16:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- ...Where did it hide that sword? O_o Paddymew 22:36, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Really want to know that...? 84.31.167.182 19:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oh well. Swarms of bees drops two-handed axes in Diablo 2. This could be much worse. Paddymew 20:53, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

The Rabbit[edit]
Anything relating to The Rabbit featuring in Farewell to Gaile should probably have its own article, like The Frog does. Anyway, The Rabbit's name is "The Rabbit" (as evident by the screenshot (which isn't needed anyway; it's better to transcribe than have a load of screenshots)), so split to The Rabbit? -- Brains12 \ Talk 22:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- Seconded. Was just thinking that myself.--Ryudo 22:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Farming[edit]
Like other Vaettir Keg Farms, the boss can be beaten quickly by bringing Budger Blackpowder and running to the middle of the cave, then select and drop (use key mappings) repeatedly. It helps to be a perma-sin for the run there, but I did the boss once with an ele and no armor buffs (and an incompetent pick-up group). If running people they should not move once the perma is at the cave or Budger won't follow. --Falseprophet 21:43, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Just noting that this is no longer possible, due to a nerf to keg farming. Paddymew 20:52, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Some trivia[edit]
"If you look closely rabbits move very quickly as the monster in Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
What? --Riddle 22:45, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- I thought the same. Voting for plain removal of this.--118.90.18.96 11:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Ranger tomes[edit]
get dropped by rabbits in the rabbit hole. Pretty sure this means they're primary rangers. ··· cedave 04:26:39 CSUTC 23/11/24 01:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Split[edit]
This would need a clean-up to be 'fixed' for any split. Making sure each 'rabbit' for each campaign matches it's own description, etc. Rather, during a split or changes to any other pages. The rabbits would have to be 'detailed' differently, rather to match it's own campaign and have it's own description. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 21:02, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Why split? Rose Of Kali 15:04, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Because this page is very inconvenient, and because there are 3 different rabbits, with three totally different functions across three campaings... -- Magamdy 15:15, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- i also couldn't stand this messy page any longer and made seperate pages for these three kinds of rabbits. now this page also lists other rabbit-related articles such as the Celestial Rabbit, summons, miniatures and transformations. —ZerphaThe Improver 23:04, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Skills[edit]
Do our little furry friends have skills in HM? I thought that all creatures got elite skills in HM. -- Magamdy 11:12, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- Probably not. charmable animals don't get skills either. personn5 18:37, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- But these are not charmable animals, and they also level up in HM, unlike charmable animals. But whatever >.> -- Magamdy 08:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Hare[edit]
The shape of the model (both white and brown) and the skin colors are more similar to that of a hare than to a rabbit. Longer and bigger ears, longer nose, longer neck and black areas in the tips of the ears. Also, bunnies can't live in very cold climates because they are born without fur, unlike hares, which are burn with fur and open eyes. So at least the ones in the Shiverpeaks must be hares. The mishap should be noted. MithTalk 23:18, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- Off-topic, I realize, but the Wolf, similarly looks much more similar to the south-Asian species of black bear than any species of wolf. The shoulders are terribly disproportional for any canine, excluding, of course, some of the much larger mastiff breeds (which are genetically very different from wolves). ··· Danny Pew Pew 06:19, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
