Landmark?

Should the Raptor's Nest be added as a landmark just like the Rabbit Hole?

I somehow missed it when I went to Rata Sum my first time, but I went back out to do some quests and found it. Good fun for a fire ele :D Lots of cheap Asura points, too.

The only problem is they interupt -.-' Mr-HaXx

Anyone else having them KD occasionally? I was using the W/N raptor farmer and Whirlwind kept getting interrupted... I was confused until I saw my character fall down whenever it happens--Ahskrenaim 00:22, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Wow just noticed something else odd. I am using Dolyak Signet So I "Cannot be knocked down" But still the screen shows me falling and Whirlwind doesn't activate. (Although my adrenaline does drain)Ahskrenaim 16:21, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

No. It was still up. and it wasn't just an interrupt. It Knocked me down. (See the thumbnail)

You probably weren't KD'd. Interrupts look like a mini KD that knocks you down and you immediately get back up. And it doesn't matter if your blocking stance was up or not. There's still a 25% chance that d-stab could have gotten through. It happens. You could always run the Mes or Ele builds if you don't like getting interrupted (never happens to me). Oh, and unless you stayed on your back for at least 1 second, you weren't KD'd. You were interrupted. The Warr builds are vulnerable to dstab, it's the tradeoff you have to take considering that they (and by they, I mean the W/N build) are faster. Karate Jesus 03:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

You can farm them in HM with a derv/sin build using ebon dust and unseen fury, with mystic regen, Shroud of distress, armor of sancity ect. R U Who U Want To B 06:06, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Drops

Of note, the Nestlings drop every melee weapon although they are all Sins. Also there are certain items they drop that they never drop as golds or purples. Certain bows, all the spears, and certain (maybe all) the scythes they drop never drop higher than blue rarity. Just thought it was odd that they never drop any staffs, wands, or offhands (other than shield), and some of their drops never drop higher than blue. (Usaf1a8xx 20:28, 17 July 2010 (UTC))

I was experimenting with an E/Me Mist Form build, and its hilarious to throw Sympathetic Visage up with these things. Can't even see yourself or the mob for all the energy lost numbers exploding out. Managed to stay alive barring lag, but they scatter even from slow, once every 20-30 seconds burst AoE. Guildwarsrunner 00:13, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Damage

It's almost certainly slashing or piercing. Is it important which of those two it is? Manifold 22:31, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Only thing I think of is if you wanted throw a "vs slashing" inscr on your shield (Usaf1a8xx 02:24, 26 April 2011 (UTC))
