Norn-Raven form??!? --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 02:06, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

With a 120 second recharge? Highly unlikely. -Auron 02:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
why? it's what all the other forms have for recharge o.O --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 07:28, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
What is a Raven? o_O ----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison.jpg 22:24, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
A bird, something like a Hawk, but then a black nasty ugly one ~ KurdUser Kurd sig.png 22:40, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Cool :D Norn ftw! ----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison.jpg 22:43, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
you could have just said it wasa crow. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 23:06, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
If this will be a form, an animation as this would be cool: you start kneeling, then you get all black feathery and your getting claws and getting some muscles...then suddenly big wings spread out on your back threw your armor making a nice bird voice :D now that's some nice animation if that will happen :P ----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison.jpg 23:09, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Er... all other forms have a 30 second recharge. -Auron 09:24, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
60 ----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison.jpg 17:37, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
No, 30, but are disabled for 120s. poke | talk 17:50, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

What else but forms justifies 120 seconds of not being able to reuse it?--68.111.79.166 17:53, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Well, for example, something that lasts a long-ass time. If it lasts 90 seconds, 120 second recharge just isn't that bad. Or something ridiculously powerful, like "Summon a 500-pound giant raven with steel claws and teeth like chainsaws." Hmm. Do ravens have teeth?64.203.204.21 19:02, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
I said 60 because I thought Auron meant the other blessings :P ----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison.jpg 19:08, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
No Ravens don't have teeth. Well this "Could" very well be some kind of passive buff like you get for pets, that have duration: For ever. Biz 08:30, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
This skill lasts forever if ur energy doesnt run out. Also, this has a recharge and not disable like the forms, so this can be recharged with GoR or something. --Dross 16:51, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Finally, Succor will have be useful. --81.183.145.127 06:24, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

I feel like eating seeds now. Let us hope there are little energy denial mesmers and necros around GWEN and that they finally add +2 energy regen to wars and +1 to rangers in wurms/animal forms, or else only casters are gonna use them =/ - Biz 08:01, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
"You gain Energy whenever you take or deal damage." lets just assume it's only 1 energy and at max title you have -5 energy regen(so a total of -3 on a war/para), wars take and deal damage VERY often. Thus making it much much easier for them to maintain this than an ele or mesmer. think of a supercharged essense bond. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 17:30, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Being in a raven form is like being in a junundu. You skills are replaced by the raven ones and you're not wielding your weapon anymore. So I would assume that every profession attacks at the same rate. Chriskang 17:59, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Junundus deal different damage with different weapon. Example you deal 55 damage with sword and you deal 40 damage with bows. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:80.222.119.130 .

True, timing, range and all other mechanics change with changed weapons, even health bonuses from armour you "reequipped" while in wurms. Biz 22:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

right?[edit]

I'm so damn good. "you take on the aspect of the raven" = form? --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 17:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

We don't know yet. I've seen the dat file and it doesn't mention anything about skill type, energy, recharge or activation time. Normally I'd assume it works like a form, but it also grants you skills, so I don't know. --Santax (talk · contribs) 17:19, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
More of a Disguise like Junundu, since you will also get a new skill set and get energy restored. Biz 22:19, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Disguise, form all the same stuff. Model changes and you get some type of benefit xD. okay okay, not EXACTLY the same, but really close. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 01:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Activation?[edit]

Is that a typo? or is there really no activationtime? :S so much for animations. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 20:21, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

It's not a typo. See: [1] Chriskang 20:37, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
It could change by the time it's released. *shrug* The leave Junundu skill has a short activation, but you still have to wait out the entire animation.--Seth Crimsonflare 21:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
This has its own twist, while your skills dont need energy you always have -2 energy degen and to change back to your old skill bar u need to lose all energy trough totem of man or otherwise Biz 10:13, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Should transform the user into a raven[edit]

I would like to see when people are using the form. --Longasc 20:10, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Zealous Mod[edit]

does a zealous weapon affect the energy regen after you use this skill? if not it is something to bear in mind so you get 2 energy per hit not just 1, also correct me if im wrong but eles still get massive boost to their energy (from energy storage) while as raven? so they can keep it up for as long as they want? Masterofthat 18:08, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

You dont get an extra -1 pip from having a zealous mod but everytime you hit with an attack you get an extra +1 energy. 68.112.127.241 04:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Right, eles still have crazy energy when using forms :P and also, in the elite forms all the dmg skills are full range, not melee as in the non-elite versions. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 22:31, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Ursan Blessing[edit]

Can this skill be used in the same way as Ursan Blessing for UW farming? SystemisFlawed

It should be possible to at least fight the warrior foes in the first bit, seeing as this both gives you block and a way to cause blindness...Nicky Silverstar 07:59, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Is probably terribly slow tho. Dark Morphon(contribs) 15:00, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
This would be better for necros because this is basically aimed to be a "stand in the back and spam AoE damage and not get hit" build, like a barrage ranger with more damage hehe. Ursan Blessing with it's extra armor and touch skills are aimed for warriors more. This looks better for necros especially, because their primary helps this out alot. The necro would need a bow or spear if it wanted to deal any kind of damage though. Justing6 04:32, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Glacial Griffon Kill With Ease?[edit]

With the Bleeding + Quick Recharge AoE Damage + Blockage + Blinding make it easy to kill the Glacial Griffon in Cold As Ice? Also, keep in mid the Blinding is all foes in earshot.--Treesbyty 19:15, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Since it doesnt, in reality, cause you to lose all effects..[edit]

Put points in Fire use Glyph of Immolation before going into the form then (as you probably already do) spam Raven Swoop for added degen, since it is a spell and not skill :D -/- Discuss 14:35, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

See Talk:Ursan_Blessing#What_does_it_remove.3F. I didn't test as many skills as I did for Ursan Blessing, but it appears to remove the same effects as it does. It removes (at least) Enchantment Spells (tested with Explosive Growth), Shouts ("I Am the Strongest!"), Stances (Drunken Master), and Chants (Anthem of Flames). Blue Totoro 15:33, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
