 About me +Hi all. My name is Martin Kerstein, and I am the German Community Manager for Guild Wars. I worked for Ncsoft Europe since 2006, and recently moved to the ArenaNet HQ in Bellevue, WA. Please say hello to my colleague Regina Buenaobra, who is working here with me. I am also looking after the German-speaking community, being a liaison between them and ArenaNet. I also plan, coordinate and attend conventions, player meets and tournaments, doing press demos, help players if they have problems, take care of the official German website, browse the fansite boards etc. I am a passionate gamer, I started with Pong (seriously) and I have played Guild Wars since the Beta Weekends. I prefer to play melee and close combat characters, I like to be where the action is. At the moment, I am mostly getting owned in GvG ;) Well, I intend to flesh this page out if I have more time, thank you for stopping by :)
Hallo. Mein Name ist Martin Kerstein, und ich bin der deutsche Community Manager für Guild Wars. Ich habe seit 2006 für NCsoft Europe gearbeitet, und bin kürzlich direkt ins ArenaNet Hauptquartier in Bellevue, WA umgezogen. Begrüßt auch meine Kollegin Regina Buenaobra, die hier mit mir arbeitet. Weiterhin kümmere ich mich um die deutschsprachige Community, ich bin die Schnittstelle zwischen den Spielern und ArenaNet. Außerdem plane und koordiniere ich Messen, Spielertreffen und Turniere, helfe Spielern, wenn sie Probleme haben, gebe Pressedemos, kümmere mich um die offizielle deutsche Webseite, lese die Foren auf den Fanseiten etc. Ich bin ein leidenschaftlicher Gamer, ich habe mit Pong angefangen (ernsthaft), und spiele Guild Wars seit den Beta Wochenenden. Als Charaktere bevorzuge ich Nahkämpfer, ich stürze mich gerne mitten ins Getümmel.
