:: Guild Wars Characters
I've been an avid Mesmer player since day one, but (or actually because of it) also played pretty much every other class (more or less) excessively, while already having deleted countless characters.
However, once Guild Wars 2 had been announced, I've stopped playing all of my alts (except for PvP characters) to entirely focus on my Mesmer - in its third incarnation (too bad you can't change your character's name after creation...).
My current aim is to attain the God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title by (somewhat regular) casual gaming. Given that Guild Wars 2 might be released anywhere between 2011 and 2015, this should actually be quite achievable by doing it in bits and pieces whenever I feel like it.
The remaining PvE chars and old Mesmers fufill their obligation as item storages and birthday gift hens. So the only character worth mentioning is:
(While the image to the left actually sports her predecessor, who is now a mule character in Obsidian Armor - hooray.)
Despite being a true PvP player at heart in almost any MMO, my PvP career in GW actually never went far beyond the Random Arena after Alpha/Beta, the lack of an appropriate HA/GvG guild being the main reason (and embarassing 490 hard-earned fame points from random PUGs being the result).
Oh, and I hate Hero Battles with a passion while Alliance Battles bore me to death; I wouldn't even consider them to be "PvP" (despite all the fun e-drama going on there).
