I base my opinion off the fact that Anet uses multiple pop culture references through out their game on skills, quest chain titles, dialogue, character names, weapon descriptions, skill icons & so forth instead of original ideas. That they are very good at "copy pasting" content from expansion to expansion. That their new game is going to be a WoW clone. That their ad campaign changed very quickly to look like another game company's campaign. I see a trend. Plenty of companies do this to some degree or another, and yes, ArenaNet has done a notable amount.
