Polling players is not generally how confirmation is gotten, rather, questions are posed to Anet staff on their pages. Ask Regina to confirm whether Emerald Blades are only found from the Chest of Kathandrax. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 09:37, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Nerfs[edit]

are frustrating if your favorite skill/build/farming setup gets the axe, but lame? Lame is getting beaten by a 12 year old who just spams attack skills and wins. Lame is being unable to do anything for the first 15 seconds of the match because someone just spams random attacks on you. Lame is people being able to do about everything in pve effortlessly because "Hard Mode" is not hard. For those reasons, nerfs are needed. This game should be about skill. The best player wins, not the player with the most broken shit on his skillbar wins. Unfortunately, that is far from the truth right now. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 11:33, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Meh. I wasn't talking about PvP. I only ever run Hammer war when I PvP because I think this Is fucking amazing. And I honestly dont think that an assassin being able to kick the living shit out anything in this game is a bad thing. They have a teeny tiny amount of armor, a teeny tiny base damage for their weapon. Their entire profession is set up around poofing in Kicking your ass and then poofing out. I wholeheartedly believe that assassins should be doing the most damage out of anything in this game. How they go about it, that can be contested, But i do honestly think that assassins, A class with no viable IAS skill of their own, laughable base damage on their weapon of choice, Which SHOULD be daggers, and a crappy ammount of armor, should be fucking rocking the house when it comes to DPS. Just how I feel though. --Briar 11:41, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
It is a bad thing. In a game where you kill things by not sucking at the game, including a gank class is an example of bad game design. In a format where success is based on mobility, giving said gank class access to teleportation is like throwing balance out of the window. It does not matter if the class is an assassin, thief, monk, or shadowdancer. Lore should never be more important than game balance. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 14:35, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

lrn2dictionary? Thus so far, the conversation is more than justified to be labeled an argument, whether one chooses to engage in some stuck-up self denial in bid to put him/herself on some imaginary higher moral ground. Pika Fan 03:39, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I'm not arguing with anyone. I've said my piece. I think assassins should be doing the most damage out of anything in the game. perhaps they shouldn't have been introduced. Perhaps their concept design is flawed. But that can hardly be remedied now. They're in game. And because they have alot more drawbacks positioning wise than warriors, they should be doing much more damage. Thats how I feel and no one, especially not koda is gonna change my mind about that. I have no further comments on the discussion. --Briar 03:44, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
they made ritualists useless in pvp when they nerfed spirit spamming - id understand itf it was some spirits but they HAD to nerf ALL the spirits!! WTF --Getefix 12:47, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Since you don't seem to understand the meaning of the word meme, I thought I'd spell it out for you, and to make it painfully clear i'll use big letters!. Before clicking the link, I figured "well, that's one thing I'll never download". Then I read this: "IMPORTANT: HijackThis does not determine what is good or bad." It even admits its unreliability! -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 05:40, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Yes a free antivirus software entitled "HijackThis" is far more reliable than the publisher of one of the world's most commonly used English dictionaries. The people who print internationally renowned dictionaries are sure to use their official website to try and break into your PC!--TahiriVeila 05:42, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

"Trend Micro HijackThis is a free utility that generates an in depth report of registry and file settings from your computer. HijackThis makes no separation between safe and unsafe settings in its scan results giving you the ability to selectively remove items from your machine." Lol good job. That software isn't an anti-virus program. It just prints out details about the registry files on your computer. hahahaha xD--TahiriVeila 05:44, 8 February 2010 (UTC)\

/shrug i dont pretend to know how it works. or how it judges what it does. My pops is the computer geek of the family. He suggests it. I use it. Sometimes it runs me a red flag saying "DANGER". It is generally at this point that i hit the back button on my browser. Thats as far as it goes. --Briar 05:44, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Next time I suggest thinking before obeying the commands of a computer program you don't understand--TahiriVeila 05:46, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
My dad trusts it. And he's been a tech wizard since LONG before i was born. If he trusts it, then i do. --Briar 05:47, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
There's a difference between trust and blind trust. Trust is wondering whether there's a problem in your relationship but being confident that if it were something major your girlfriend would have brought it up. Blind trust is walking in on your fiancee fucking two other women and believing him when he says it's not what it looks like. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 05:50, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Yes but your dad at least appears to understand how it functions. If you don't understand how it functions you can't understand what it's suggesting you do.--TahiriVeila 05:50, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
