What happened to Acid For Blood?
Hi Brinstar; feel free to delete this comment once you've read it, but I was just wondering where Acid For Blood had got to - you've been missed! If Acid For Blood is permanently dead, and/or you've got some new blog above and beyond your work blog, could you drop by at The Dust Forms Words and let me know so I can update the blogroll? Thanks! GregT 314 02:01, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Too easy - she finally got around to adding that "www" at the start! Now I feel silly, thanks. GregT 314 03:03, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
- When I moved to a new hosting service last summer, they forced me to use the "www" at the start. It's supposed to automatically redirect from the address without the "www" and I have contacted my DNS about it, but it still doesn't work. I got tired of dealing with support, so I just let it be. I suppose my page ranking has dropped since then, but I'm not really too bothered about it, since the blog is mainly a hobby and for fun and not for making money or trying to promote myself. --Regina Buenaobra 02:24, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Regina, would you be so kind....
....as to hop on xfire for a few minutes, when you get this? Unless of course thursday rolls around before you read this. Thanks. — Jon Lupen 23:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Guild?
Just out of interest in what guild are you in? And also out of interest what is the name of the guild that u get a 9th skilll bar called? --Simpaklimp 07:24, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Nobody in the game has access to a ninth skill slot, although The Spearmen like to joke that they do. --Mme. Donelle 21:08, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- LOL i really thought they had a 9th skillbar XD but still what guild is regina in?--Simpaklimp 00:24, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know; last I heard, she was in her own guild, as the only member. I'm not sure if this applies to her player account or her work account, but that's all I know, anyway. --Mme. Donelle 01:18, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Who needs 9th skill if you can instantly kill anything you target while being virtually unkillable. Biz 11:51, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- BAMPH! ? --Mme. Donelle 11:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

- On my personal account, I have a guild I've been with for a while. I am not going to divulge the name because it might cause some issues for them. My guild isn't any of the guilds that (to my knowledge) other ArenaNet employees belong to, nor is it probably one that people are familiar with. It's not a "famous" guild by any means. The guild is pretty small. It was formed by a few friends who wanted to play together.
- On my work account, I don't belong to any guilds except my own. It has the same name as a guild I created a while ago, when I first started playing (and which later disbanded due to personal lives becoming busy and international relocation/time difference problems) -- Callers of Cthulhu [CTHU]. The reason I do not join player guilds on my work account is because there are too many messy issues to do with player favoritism that could happen.
- My work account is for work. My personal account is for personal use. --Regina Buenaobra 00:40, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Great! the reason i asked this was because if i could join ur guild, but now i probably dont want to cause you any trouble--Simpaklimp 08:26, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Konami icon
I see you now have a Konami icon behind your sig. Does that mean you have secretly implemented the up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A cheat somewhere in the game? Koda Kumi talk 21:32, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's a picture of an onigiri that I made in Photoshop. I didn't get one of the edges matching the other side, but I figure that having more rice there isn't necessarily a bad thing. Yum. --Regina Buenaobra 19:59, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- Rice? Have you by any chance seen "Fruits Basket"? That is one of their symbols is the one that you are using. Fun Anime thou I have not read the Manga that goes with it yet. Christine 69.54.220.18 20:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- INAFR. Just a rice ball. Chill, people. -_- Vili 20:10, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- Have to admit ive been trying to work out the konami reference for ages myself now, never saw it, which i thought was odd as i'm a BIG konami fan. -- Salome 20:26, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- Christine, The reason why it's called 'Fruits Basket' is because of a childrens game that the main character played in kindergarten. The other kids bullied her by labeling her onigiri instead of a fruit in order to keep her from playing. --Dunyas 20:46, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- Isn't it up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-B-A-Select-Start? --adrin 06:23, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Not sure about the select button. I never used the cheat. Koda Kumi talk 21:46, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- The Konami Code has its variations, but the basic idea it's always the same. It would be awesome to have any kind of reference to things like this in the the game, for example, having tu push buttons and levels when helping an asura creating a Golem, XD MithTalk 22:03, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
