Category order[edit]

Hey, thanks for your effort in making the unique item articles more standardized but there is no need in reordering the category links at the bottom of the page. It won't affect the appearance of the categories in any way :) poke | talk 15:58, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Hey Poke! I'm not sure I understand what you mean by won't affect the appearance of the categories. Check out Baglorag's Maul. Originally the categories weren't in the order as they appear in the template. I switched them, then they were. I know it's a piddling consistency thing, but eventually I'm hoping to get all the little things like this in one swipe instead of having to keep going back (yey for progressive efficiency!). I guess for now I'll stick with just expanding the replica section until I hear different. Thanks for replying! Shana Something 18:44, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
I think what poke is trying to say is it doesn't affect how the Categories themselves function. You are creating a lot of unnecessary entries in the Recent changes log that make it difficult for those of us who monitor for vandalism etc. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 18:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Okay. I understand. I will keep my edits down. I didn't mean to cause a problem. Thanks! --Shana Something 18:55, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry about keeping edits down if those edits would help and improve; I didn't notice any of your edits making recentchanges-watching difficult.
By the way, you have a repeated "and" in the fourth bullet on your userpage ;) --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 20:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I just wanted to say, go you! I know every edit is valuable, but I really appreciate what you are doing :D - anja talk 19:41, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Awww... thanks! *blush* I'm having a blast, actually... and if it helps even one person... BONUS! Your comment is much appreciated ANJA!--Shana Something 19:45, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Massive contribution here, much apprecitated! --Arduinna talk 19:59, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to... *counts* ...ninth the sentiments above and say awesome work on the weapons pages! <3! --KOKUOU 13:40, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Unique non-unique counterparts[edit]

First off, good work on the info. However, I have a couple of questions/suggestions. I noticed you have listed on many weapon pages the prefix and suffix twice. Like could it be

  • Prefix
  • Suffix
  • One of the following
    • Collector
  • OR
    • Craft
    • Insc

That might condense the info a bit more. Oh, and I noticed that with, say Forgotten Shield (Strength) that you could replicate it with a shield from Pathfinder_Mia and an inscription. Just some thoughts I had. --JonTheMon 16:34, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I just missed Pathfinder Mia, I guess. I'll go back and add her as appropriate. I hadn't thought of organizing the components this way. I was going on how my brain works when I'm looking to craft a green... I go after the weapon first, preferably one that already has the inherent mod/inscription, and then find the upgrades. I'll see how the layout looks after I get things more finished. Thanks very much for the input!--Shana Something 18:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, pathfinder Mia isn't the only collector that offers an incribable item. I think most shields and focus items have some inscribable collector items. Maybe also some spears and scythes. I looked at collector rewards for my look-ups. --JonTheMon 18:17, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Deldrimor uniques[edit]

If you are going to do the replica sections, do not forget the crafted deldrimor weapons that can also be used to replicate (including the skin). --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 21:09, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

I've been trying to. Have I missed some?--Shana Something 21:12, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Unique counterparts[edit]

instead of reverting again, I'm asking you why you're adding every half-identical weapon with at least one similar mod to every unique item page..? --Cursed Angel Q.Q 21:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Not sure what you mean. Can you give me an example? --Shana Something 21:21, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Fendi's Focus for example. you shouldn't add every damn green focus with the same +15 energy mod because no necro will ever use fast casting, spawning powers or energy storage. The list of unique weapons isn't hard to find, it's even on the main page. could you consider only listing items of the same profession? becasue the lists gets pretty long, and pretty useless. --Cursed Angel Q.Q 21:27, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
I've been going by the formatting guide which seems to want to include any counterpart with the same mods. You might want to take that up with the folks that decided on it. As for me... it won't hurt my feelers if you want to take that stuff off. --Shana Something 21:35, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
no, i want you to not add it, I'm not gonna re-edit your every edit. --Cursed Angel Q.Q 23:39, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

counterparts[edit]

It was jsut noticed that you listed an identical replacement to an item by adding an inscription to a collector item... trouble was the collector was one from prophecies and thus can not have an inscription. You may wanna glance over your past edits for similar instances relating to collectors that cant be inscribed MrPaladin talk 15:23, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Could link a few of those? Also, if they're proph collector items, they should have an equivalent inherent. It might just be an organization issue. --JonTheMon 15:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Someone noticed it on Wingstorm, I jsut donno if it happened elsewhere, just a heads up MrPaladin talk 16:31, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up! I'll go back and take a look. --Shana Something 19:26, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Question regarding the Droknar's Scepter counterparts. You list Gertrud and Telamon as crafters for direct replacements, but some of the secondary attributes don't have weapons listed on the respective crafter's page. Specifically, the restoration wand (not sure if there are others). Is this an error in the counterpart listing, or the crafter's page? Freedom Bound 15:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

My guess is that it's my error in the counterpart listing. Only way to know for sure is to go in-game and have a chat with those crafters. I can't do that right now, but will try to pop in and check it out this evening. Good catch, FB! Thanks! --Shana Something 15:36, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Shoot, I was hoping it was a crafter listing error! Need a 20/20 scepter and didn't want to have to find/buy the mods or the green! It is kind of odd that there wouldn't be one, isn't it? Especially if there is one for all the other secondary attributes.... Freedom Bound 15:40, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
It is odd, though I guess it might be a way to gimp Restoration. Otherwise we Resto Rits would be wayyyy too awesome. *wink* --Shana Something 15:47, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Did you have a chance to check? I've forgotten twice now... Maybe I need to tie a string on my finger or something. :) Freedom Bound 13:24, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
While you're tying... tie one on my finger, too! I've been in only once since I said I'd check and it completely slipped my mind. Why, oh why can't I just play while I'm at work? :P I'll get to it... top of my list for tonight. Thanks for the interest!--Shana Something 13:28, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
So, I checked, and sure enough, Gertrud doesn't have a restoration 20/20 wand. I also didn't see an Inspiration 20/20 wand, but all the other secondary caster attributes were represented. I don't have access to the Luxon side yet, so I can't verify Telamon, but I'd imagine it's the same. Freedom Bound 02:52, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
I managed to look at Telamon... Gertrud and Telamon have the same list of items... and it is the same deal. :( No Resto, no Inspiration. Bummer.--Shana Something 13:16, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Slashing damage daggers[edit]

Rather then removing them entirely, why not mention them in a new section and leaving a note about their damage type? maybe someone even prefers slashing to piercing damage. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:44, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

I could do that... though it might clutter up the Replica section even more. Maybe just a little inline parenthetical somewhere? I'm thinking out loud, though ideas would be welcome. I'll fiddle with it and see what I can come up with.--Shana Something 13:50, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Have a peek at Deldrimor Daggers (unique). I suppose it's not too cluttered. I'll let this sit and see who salutes or thumbs their noses.--Shana Something 14:03, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

After some thought and a quick poll of the Sins I know, I decided to take Zerpha's suggestion to heart. I think I've come up with a format that causes the least clutter and confusion. Thanks for the input!--Shana Something 13:34, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

No problem, nice to see you're putting so much effort in preliminary considerations before preceeding ^^ —ZerphatalkThe Improver 22:38, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

s plural[edit]

Sorry to bother you, but when doing uniques, note that it is "Slavers'", not "Slaver's", in Slavers' Exile. Backsword 14:22, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! I'll fix that. --Shana Something 23:19, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Table-izing[edit]

I like the tables, but is there a way to make them aligned at the top? The way you've got them now the campaign and type (collector/weaponsmith) is centered, so it looks kind of weird (in my opinion). Not sure how tables work here, so don't know if it's possible or not. Freedom Bound 20:04, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

It's possible... and it does look better. I'll fix the ones I've already done. Good idea!--Shana Something 20:15, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Congrats (and thanks)[edit]

...For finishing the unique weapons project. Now what are you going to do?! :) Freedom Bound 15:18, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

My pleasure... and so very welcome! It looks like I'll dig into the weapons pages. Keep those comments coming! --Shana Something 15:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

What are you gpoing to do now? Will your brain explode without weapons to update? Backsword 12:10, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

I hope it doesn't explode! Though it has felt a little leaky around the edges this last weekend. :P I think I'm going to fiddle with the weapons pages. There is a bit of ambiguity with some of the skins. I'd like to check out the crafters and weaponsmiths to see exactly which skin of a particular weapon they have. I'm not in the game much these days so I might need to call on folks to do a little running around and researching!--Shana Something 14:07, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

"Perfect" counterparts to unique items[edit]

An IP is reverting your changes on non-max unique items, removing the perfect replicas. Is this something that had consensus somewhere before? I don't want to revert a bunch of edits (I think six) without making sure the perfect replicas are desired in non-max unique items. (IMO, they're valid and useful, but I've been known to be wrong according to some). Freedom Bound 13:45, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Eh, Wynthyst is reverting them all, it looks like, so nevermind. Freedom Bound 16:52, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Hey FB! I think I gave up on perfect replicas for non-max weapons after the Warrior uniques. Seemed like a good idea at the time... but then I got to thinking that it wasn't necessary. Thanks for keeping an eye out!--165.91.52.145 18:28, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Oops... that ^ was me!--Shana Something 18:29, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

"Stat Graphs"[edit]

I put those templates there as an example. See the discussion on Template talk:Item info --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 16:15, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Ah... okay. Sorry about that, then! Half a second after taking it out, I thought I should have gone looking farther than the discussion page. I'll put it back.--Shana Something 18:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Plague-Soaked Stave[edit]

Ironically you added it to all the wrong pages and didn't add it to List of multi-profession unique items. I've reverted several of your edits. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 15:30, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

I don't mess with the category lists themselves. I must be really out of it, but why wouldn't this wand go with the primary attribute uniques? Kerrsh's Staff is in the primary attribute staff sections. I must be missing something. 165.91.53.12 18:09, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
