Revert[edit]

I must ask you to cease the revert war on Perv, it does not help resolve the issue --Lemming64 00:00, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Trying to get through with the user but he doesn't seem to listen, so I've stopped. - Skakid9090 00:00, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Ha?! Anyway Skadi you msged me in pm and I still don't know how to reply to people directly ;) Anyway, I have deleted 2 things, I'm not sure which one you're referring to but I'll explain both. First thing was Lamentation post/thread. Someone replied to my msg, I agreed with reply, deleted whole section (2 posts) because it became obsolete. Second thing i deleted was someones post which was an "I agree with previous poster"-thing, and it became obsolete because I took into account what that previous poster said and adjusted things accordingly. Thus, that post made absolutely no sense as it did not refer to anything existing. I guess i couldve kept it for historical purposes but is that really needed? I didn't remove anyones post because I disagreed with it, if i deleted something that's because I said "yes you're right, and someone else said it before which is still there; and i changed my post so now lets clean this up". If you're talking about something else pls point if up, but as you can see I didn't go into any killing spree of those who disagree with my opinions nor did I have any malicious intentions. Servant of Kali 18:29, 7 August 2007 (UTC) Fine, it's really not a problem for me leaving it. Servant of Kali 18:34, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

delete tagging[edit]

Just a note, for things copied from GuildWiki, you're better off using {{copyvio}}, rather than {{delete}} - it's a bit more informative, and it gives people the option to edit a temporary page to create a non-conflict version that can be substituted in. See Guild_Wars_Wiki:Sign_your_comments#Length. Specifically, regarding signatures which exceed 30 characters when viewed on a talk page. While the current policy does not force you to comply, you could be considerate of your fellow wiki users, as the guidelines presented there aren't arbitrary, they do have a purpose behind them. Sig (revisited)[edit]

While the signature policy does not provide hard limits for signature length, it does explicitly say to "keep your signature short," and it provides guidelines to assist you with that. You are well beyond the guidelines and people all around the wiki have complained about the length of your signature. You have thus far refused to change it. Thus, as an administrator, I am now telling you to change your signature or I will block you.

Please do not intentionally antagonize others[edit]

Policy proposal discussion pages are for discussing the policy proposal, please be respectful and don't attempt to disrupt them for your own personal amusement. While elviondale may not be within his rights to remove content from a talk page, that content really shouldn't have been there in the first place. Please respect the goals of the wiki and restrain yourself from posting things that are disruptive of its processes. Okay, please don't make any more idiotic policy proposals. =) — Skakid9090 01:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
It is perfectly possible to express your disagreement with a policy proposal without resorting to methods which are disruptive of wiki processes in general. Disliking a policy is not an excuse to troll. Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 01:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

You suggest that Bull's Strike be buffed, please never talk again — Skakid9090 01:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Now where did you get this notion? You're bad and have no clue what you are talking about. All I did so far with my user page, was copy and paste skills and their descriptions, awaiting enough time to actually post what changes I'd like to see. Do note however, that none of those skills are Bull's Strike and that my changes include nerfs as well as buffs and also complete skill tweaks. Would you like to give being smart another try? Problem. 02:39, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

God skakid, leave him alone. All you're doing right now is trolling. If he thinks Bull's Strike should be buffed, then he can post that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.--MP47 (talk) 02:47, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
NOt when he's going around being a douchebag and insulting everyone that comments on his talk page, when it's evident he has no clue what he's talking about when he buffs every bad skill and nerfs every good skill in the game. — Skakid9090 06:06, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I really dont understand where you are coming from with "when he buffs every bad skill and nerfs every good skill in the game." I have made no suggestions as of yet, and my last list, mainly consisted of reworking underused skills to accomodate a diverse metagame. None of the changes in my last list, suggested they nerf a "good skill." Its pretty evident that you, along with any of your other buddies are just trolling, and when you get called on it, you have to come up with blank statements to "justify" your behavior. It's pretty clear that you haven't looked at anything I've previously suggested, and haven't looked at anything I've done currently. For the record, as previously stated, my current list is still a W.I.P and is just a copy and paste of current skills I'd like to see changed with their current skill descriptions. When I get the time, I will sit down, just like I did with my first list, and post what I'd like to see done. Then, and only then, can you make stupid and inaccurate statements like "he has no clue what he's talking about when he buffs every bad skill and nerfs every good skill in the game." I wonder if the mods will have a problem with this, as it really isn't a direct attack on you but a direct attack on your "argument." Problem. 19:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Some skills need to stay shit, if all skills we're balanced with each other the game would suck, all the top skill balancing things say that (e.g. magic the gathering) — Skakid9090 21:03, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Well, i don't like that there are some builds in GW that are simply good in general and that there are some skills that are nearly useless and orphaned. Why should some skills stay rubbish? Well, noone can do perfect balancing. Or did i missunderstand what you said? (btw, I also play magic and...
Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers relating to the story of a somehow OT comparison between GW and Magic The Gathering.

like the Legacy format most, as your cards like don't get banned someday as they get too old (like in Standard / Extended)...well unlike Legacy they have the advantage that the game does not have as powerful cards as it, but i don't prefer always buying now one :P but that cannot be really called a reason that Legacy is better...but well, lets get out of the offtopic-offtopic and back to offtopic (that again wants to make a comparison about GW/MtG balancing:) In Vintage, the best decks are in most cases either Black, Blue, or both...the broken cards are still allowed once, and as most broken cards are blue or black, that lets one get the best decks out of this bunch of restricted cards. That is what i do not like. Well, but afaik this changed today and they are now only allowed in 2HG. unfortunatly, unlike in gw, they do not change great things on cards like mana cost or the entire ability, only little erratas...so broken cards remain broken. but, as Anet can change skills as they want to, including all costs - and even the mechanic - i'd like to see every skill (nearly) as useful as the other. If you rly read this now, thx-a-lot ^^—ZerphatalkThe Improver 18:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
If all skills were balanced, most would have their own niche. This would make teams drift away from skill to a more rock-paper-scissors-like system. — Skakid HoHoHo 00:26, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
well...that's also right somehow. but this would also let the teams skills decide which one wins, wouldn't it? however, i dislike that some skills are nearly not played at all and that there are some other skills that are in every second build of the corresponding class simply because its so useful.

Saul's Story[edit]

Would you mind using different phrasing for beating something in future please? There's really no need to use the word for a violent sexual attack. Thanks. -- Smarty 09:01, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

You should have a look around about what the word means. Then maybe you might understand why it shouldn't be used as game slang. If you want to use it with friends who think it's appropriate then maybe that's the place for it. You should hold yourself to a certain standard here. User Woop sig.pngWoop ‧ talk ‧ 21:22, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Beat is also a word with quite an offensive meaning. As is kill. As is own. I suppose one could say complete, but really, how can one QQ about the terms used to describe a game whose entire gameplay is inherently offensive(murder is very offensive, imo)? --— User Edru viransu Cake.JPG Edru/QQ 03:55, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Wow[edit]

I can't believe how different you've become. I once knew you as one of the powerful editors, who was friendly and helpful. However, due to your recent responses to my posts, I'm starting to wonder where that Skakid went. Instead of helping the wiki, you've become an immature troll with answers that, honestly, seem fit for a 5-year-old child. I'm not sure who would consider "No u" a valid reply to my very serious question to Auron, nor to my request to not insult another user who was simply stating his opinions on the subject. Please, I'm asking this in the kindest possible way: Grow up.--MP47 (talk) 20:13, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

I find it moderately ironic that you seem to ask other people to not insult other people and call Skakid an immature troll and childish. --Edru viransu 02:30, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes I know, it was moderately hypocritical of me, but how else can I get my point across?--MP47 (talk) 02:46, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
I would not be surprised if Skakid felt that whatever insulting he has done was either the only or the best way to get his point across. --Edru viransu 03:13, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
"No u" is hardly a way to get a point across. At least when I'm rude, i have constructive criticism to give.--MP47 (talk) 03:23, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
I say everyone just drops it, since this is the INTERNET and you don;t need to prove yourself to anybody, considering its just making extra drama no one needs and its pointless fighitng since neither side will let down. Heres a tip, stop while your ahead. Ajc2123

Please quote where I said that their skill icons suck. I didn't make that page, nor do I believe that it had any malicious intent toward GuildWars. I only brought it up to get a laugh out of people, as it's quite interesting (IMO) to see all the skills that have similar icons. I'm sorry if you took this the wrong way, however.--MP47 (talk) 20:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
yeh I guess I did. you should loosen up a bit imo, you're way too serious on a guild wars wiki. all these hearfelt speeches and apologies are pretty pointless, imo. — Skakid HoHoHo 20:35, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
