Guild Wars Wiki:Talk pages is 1. a guideline, and 2. a draft guideline. I know we don't remove comments from talk pages anyway, but I just wanted to point out that it's not an accepted policy. -- Brains12 \ talk 15:08, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

RE:Images

Hey its Akuto.... Yeah I have been having trouble with images. I do everthing right it says its uploaded it but then nothing shows up... What I need help with is making those info boxes, I'm a new guild leader so I didn't use wiki until then.....maybe I should of stayed in my old guild--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Akutomoon (talk).

Unsigned

Is there any reason for replacing the {{unsigned}} templates on the questions page with absolute text? Surely I thought its better to have the template since it reduces the size of the un-rendered page. TBH I might be wrong, I'm just wondering why.- TheRave (talk) 11:01, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Both user:Wizardboy777 and user:Y0_ich_halt told me to use subst:unsigned instead of unsigned.

Since I usually respect what older (non-spammer) members tell me, I decided to follow their advice. :P

Something to do with template being update every so often or extra strain to the server to have to replace it every time the page is loaded. So, a thousand subst:unsigned would render a few thousand extra bytes to the page, but would require a thousand less on-the-fly replace template by the server. --NIN37 11:18, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Need Help Again

Sorry to bother you but I need help again... I got a message that my guild page was to be delete if U didn't fix it. It said it had too many images. I only have 3 some guild pages even have 7, what should I do?-Akutomoon 10:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

The guild page policy says: "Images -- restricted to a guild banner, a single image of your guild members striking a pose, an image of the guild hall, and an image of the guild cape. (not including icons in headings).". I think the {{guild cleanup}} tag was deleted because of the picture of the miniature you used to have on the page. Now you've removed that AFAIK it conforms to the policy, so I've removed the tag.- TheRave (talk) 10:45, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

My quote was from the person who removed your comment it wasn't from me. Which looking at the edit history was Ezekial Riddle, it would make sense to ask him for evidence since he was the person who removed the comment. Gates of Kryta has one in the bonus area, if you look in the chasm in the waters. Also, the NF Character Selection screen had one swimming about. A shark in waters is nothing special, as it's an ambient creature. --Ezekial Riddle 03:34, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Tagging guild pages

I have noticed you have erroneously tagged several Guild pages for cleanup. All a guild page needs to contain to conform to GWW:GUILD is the {{guild}} template, the {{guild infobox}}, and one contact. Contacts include Guild Leader's name, webiste, forum, or any member's IGN, wiki, or email. Please be careful when you are tagging. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks! Also you need to fix your talk page formatting so it doesn't interfere with people adding new sections using the +. -- Wyn 12:00, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Talk page templates

Heya! Your Sign template has been marked for deletion. Just as an FYI, history has proven that those kinds of templates (welcomes, sign, warnings etc) are a bad thing. They tend to get overused and are too impersonal. It's much better to type out the message on a case by case basis. Trust me, you aren't the first, nor will you be the last want to use them. :D -- Wyn 13:19, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
