Could you send me a link to a guild with how you want it.

AFAIK it is possible to remove the background manually (in PS) but when ever I've done it, it doesn't look very good. Alternatively it could be done in game by removing textures. The best capes are extracted from game using Seru's method but that only shows the cape, not the character as well. I like how 'Guild: Champions Of Dreams Elite' has done it, they ahve a background (which i want now) but they also show the characters head bowing. It hasn't got a background and its flat see here its like Seru's here. The problem might be that the image isn't updating for you. If you're still seeing the old image refresh your page a couple of times.- TheRave (talk) 13:21, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Your guild page looks like the image on the right. If it doesn't its a caching issue. That's one thing I hate about this wiki is images not refreshing. Yeah its not transparent but that shouldn't be an issue because its on a white background. User Boxes

Hey again Rave ;), you think you can help me make some userboxes for my guild? If you check out "Guild:Champions Of Dreams Elite", they have made Userboxes having a picture of the cape then saying "This User is proud to be a member of Champions Of Dreams Elite [CODE]!!!" and then theres anotherone saying all that but for officer, then theres one for leader. Double Reverting

Regarding: Vow of Strength Please don't double revert. It is against the one revert rule policy.
On topic, it's a stupid suggestion and very bad skill synergy. That kind of crap belongs in userspace or pvx, not in mainspace articles. -Auron 11:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

It is a single revert due to the addition of the {{disputed}} tag. Without the note left the dispute tag does not at all indicate what the dispute is. Whether the suggestion is a bad synergy is irrelevant, its up to the reader to decide/try. The wiki should be objective, not subjective. Zzz, wikilawyering doesn't help your case since you evidently don't know what 1RR is about. The article's in a revert war. You continued the revert war by reverting again. I got linked to the article, saw the note, and removed it without noticing anything on the talk page about it, but you were in full awareness and continued the war by reverting... again. Thus, my warning on your talk page. If I wrongly removed the dispute tag, you should leave a note on my talk page before reverting my edit, especially during the revert war. Image naming (guild)

I've correctly named the two images on your guild page. The main problem is with the naming of the images. Its sometimes best to create the image tag first then click on the red link and upload it there. Fansites/external sites are not allowed individual pages. The Fansite Policy says a page can be created but it must redirect to the List of fansites page. Me and User:Fighterdoken have already set this up. Now what you can do is add your site to the List of fansites page making sure to conform to the policy. You never know, they might end up being used on a subpage or something when the editor gets used to what he can and can't do. Edit Conflicts

Isn't it common practice to insert an edit conflict beneath the comment you were in conflict with? You can adjust your indentation etc after the fact, but now it looks as if I was replying to you, which I in fact, was not. Misery 13:25, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Hawt tip, I found out that if you are making a new section using the new edit section tool (the "+" tab at the top of the page) it will add whatever you are doing to the end of the page and ignore all edit conflicts. It also automatically does the edit summary for you so I pretty much always use it when creating a new section. Misery 13:27, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Double Reverting

You're misquoting Guild Wars Wiki:One-revert rule, it's one revert per editor. User:Sorrow Pathfinder has only touched that page once, so he isn't in breach at all, however as I have reverted that before, I can't touch it, so I made a note on the talk page explaining why it should be reverted. Hey, just found your guild name on your userpage. I've created the guild page for you. It can be found here: Guild:Lorcanimal Clan. You can fill in as much or as little information as you like. If you click edit there's a fair amount of comments to tell you where to put stuff. You can also upload a cape image as well by clicking the red cape image link. New Sections on Guild Page

Heylo. To add more/new sections on your guild page you need to click edit at the top then type somewhere on the page: == New Section == (with the title of your choice). The two equals signs mean new section/header. If you want I can create an example section on your guild page so you can see, just ask.

To add a new page to your guildspace its easier to create the link to the page first. To create a link in your guild space you use two Square Brackets with the name of the page within (and optionally a title). For example: [[Guild:Lorcanimal Clan/Roster]] or [[Guild:Lorcanimal Clan/Roster|Roster]]. This will appear as a red link on your page, you can then click on the red link and create the page. Just make sure you create correctly named/located pages for your guild as described in the guild page policy. If you want I can create an example subpage for your guild so you can see, just ask.

When I first started editing wikis I found the Mediawiki Formatting Article very useful. It shows how to do most of the most used formatting as well has how to do Links and Images.

Remove picture

Hey, the old picture is probably still cached somewhere. AFAIK the only way to completely get rid of it is to ask on of the administrators. Hey, sorry for the long time to respond, I've been really busy lately with work and other things. I have a free evening this evening so I'll write up a short tutorial of how to set up and use the tabs if you're interested. Its not the simplest thing to do, if you're not used to wiki'ing.

Also, I noticed you're just signing with your name; Its generally best to sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~), because that way it will add both your name and the date and time of your comment. Also its easier to type for "~" that it is to type your whole name and link.- TheRave (talk) 06:08, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Ok. Firstly for the tabs, you will need to copy at least one of my templates and make it your own. Its the User:TheRave/Templates/Tabs/TabsHeader template. Copy it to your userspace then modify it to have the titles you would like. Then you can embed this into your userpage(s) using a flag to set which one is highlighted (e.g. {{User:TheRave/Templates/Tabs/TabsHeader|This=1}}). If you don't mind the tabs being green (like mine), then this is all you need to do. If not you will need to copy all the relevant templates over and modify the colours in them as required (Tabs Top, Tabs Bottom, Tabs, Tab 1, Tab 2).

For the "add comments code" the code I use is <div style="margin-top: 0.0em; margin-bottom:3px; text-align: center; background-color: #a3ccb8; font-weight: bold; padding: .2em .6em; font-size: 130%; border: 1px solid #A3B1BF; border-bottom:2px solid #A3B1BF; border-right:2px solid #A3B1BF; -moz-border-radius: 15px;">{{querylink|User_talk:TheRave|qs=action=edit&section=new|Click here to add a new comment}}</div>. Obviously you will have to change the link to my talk page to a link to your talk page and edit the size and colour as required.

If this all sounds too complex I can help you with it if you describe exactly what you want (pages, colours, styles, links, etc.) in comparison to mine.
