GWWT's links are java scripts. for javascripts, the browser will display "javascript:scriptName" instead of where the link goes. now, GWWT is stored on poke's page and everyone's only including it. so once he changes it, everyone gets the update. so he could just change gwwt's scripts and everyone who uses gwwt will get rickrolled. that's why you can only use an already popular program and change it. who'd use a program you made only for rickrolling? :P - Y0_ich_halt 20:57, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

fake new messages bar

I'm kindly asking you to remove it. It isn't helpful, isn't about you, and worst of all, it lessens the effect of the real "new messages." GuildWiki had the same thing, which I'm sure you remember; no less than five users had that on their page, and it was impossible to navigate without tripping over the trick messages.
In the end, they (Guildwikians) made it pretty much against policy to have the messages on your userpage. I honestly hope we don't even have to bring policies into this. Rickrolling shouldn't be that important to you. -Auron 13:03, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

It depends what you determine as gender on the internet i suppose. As our dangly bits are kinda out of the scope of refrence online then gender is determined purely by which social roles one conforms too and which stereotypes one most closely matches. on the net, I have a tendency to call people hun and sweetheart and chat about random boring inane topics that no one else cares about until they've lost all will to live and then get all huffy about it and pout, in short act like a woman. Thus i supose that makes online me, female. whereas RL me is very different and more closely conforms to normal masculine gender roles. Hmmm.... I think im gonna set my sociology tutorial class this as some extra homework to think about. Defining gender in a sexless enviroment. Actually, yes, it often does. Gender is not the same as sex. Your sex is determined by which set of fleshy-bits happens to have originally dangling between your legs, or further than that, which pair of SEX chromosomes you have. GENDER is a totally mental or possibly social thing and can often change over the course of one's life.

Furthermore, there are no girls on the internet. Because to be a girl you have to have a set of XX chromosomes. Screen names do not have chromosomes, or breasts, or any other delimiters of the female sex. Neither, as such, can you be a boy, as your screenname also lacks these items. You MAY, in real life, have a sex - but on the internet you are random compliation of bits, bytes, pixels and images. Your argument is a matter of perception. Whether you happen to be on, in, next to or around the internet's tubes, I, and other users, cannot perceive that.
