Vanguard foe

A Vanguard foe is an unofficial term used to describe the foes that spawn as a result of taking a quest from Lieutenant Langmar. There are three main reasons for grouping them into a single category:
- These foes only spawn in pre-Searing and only when the relevant quest is active and all party members are at least level 10.
- They give experience, but do not drop any loot.
- They are generally unaffected by upgrades that would otherwise affect similar looking foes.

Bug.Equipment upgrades that should benefit against Undead or Grawl have no apparent affect against Vanguard foes. The only upgrades that show any benefit are weapon mods that boost armor and/or damage against the Charr. [verification requested]
