[edit] Location
[edit] Text
Even the greatest castle must rely upon its wall, tough and strong
To prevent disasters, to keep its people safe, armored against wrong
Never in danger.
The armor of [Character Name] belongs here.
- Examine the Monument to Resilience.
- No armor sets are on display. (if none are)
- Ascended armor sets on display: (if any are)
- [Armor Set Name] (for each displayed)
Display [Armor Set Name]. (repeated for any set which is not displayed and of which a piece is worn)
- You are not wearing a complete set of [Armor Set Name]. The platform does not respond to you. (with less than 4 pieces)
- View the "Resilience" inscription again.
- Are you sure you wish to proceed? (with 4 pieces)
- The monument looks empty. A tapestry covering the wall behind it would make it seem more complete. (with no tapestry)
If at least one statue is displayed,
Witness here the armor of the legendary hero, [Character Name], whose achievements will never be forgotten.
- Examine the Monument to Resilience.
[edit] Statues
[edit] Notes
- Only the four body armor pieces are required to display a set, even if there is a headpiece available for it.
- Whether you purchase the missing piece or not, the entire armor set will be displayed.
- You must be wearing your armor to display the set.
- All your armors will be displayed in the color of the chest piece you are wearing upon entering the hall.
- If no chest piece is worn, then the color of the displayed armors will be the standard color of that profession (Or red, in the case of EotN armors).
- If the dye on your armor is from before the Nightfall dye update, then the displayed armor will be the standard color of that profession.
- Rearranging the statues will change their color to that of the chest piece you are wearing while rearranging.
- Discarding a part of a shown armor or the complete armor won't remove it from the monument.
- Marhan's Grotto armor sets and the Granite Citadel armor sets have varying titles in the Hall of Monuments.
- "Deldrimor armor" is not possible to add, as it's not a set.
- If you choose to show armor via an account-based setting, and the profession lacks that armor skin (e.g. an elementalist who has a warrior with Silver Eagle on the same account), the display will be of a smaller bronze statue of a male and female wearing a sample of that armor series, side by side.
- You must have a Monumental Tapestry displayed in your character's Resilience Monument in order to add that character's armor to your personal and account accomplishments.
[edit] Trivia
- The shield that is seen wielded in the tapestry looks like a Tengu Shield.
- Until Friday, September 28 2007 update, it wasn't possible to add the Silver Eagle armor to the Hall of Monuments.
