Diablo-style armor sets(Discussion)

Pieces of armor that combine to be greater than the sum of their parts.

For example, the Variable set could have Gloves of the Variable. By themselves, they have x% blunt resistance. With additional pieces, that % goes up. Add Breastplate of the Variable, which has x% to ignore knockdown, and both the percentages for blunt resistance and ignore knockdown go up.

Why this is a good idea

•  Adds some snazzy loot for PvE types to aspire to.

Why it may not work out

•   Could make GW a boring loot-fest like WoW. Did I just contradict myself?
•   Either underpowered as separate pieces, or overpowered as a set. Neither is desirable.
