You should be able to pick a God that you will "worship" like warriors-->balthazar. Maybe my mesmer wants to worship balthazar too! Picking a god to worship in PvE only will give you bonuses.
Ex.
Balthazar--> More Damage
Lyssa--> More Energy
Dwayna--> More Health
Grenth--> Hex duration lowered
Melandru--> Condition duration lowered
