Offensive stle armour (Discussion)
This suggestion is not about armour that is vuglar, racist,etc. The idea is related to the concept that runes can currently be added to armour to protect and defend and keep health and energy up. But what about armour upgrades that have a AoE ability or touch range abilities. Such as causing conditions when struck, of bleeding, dazed, poison, energy degen and health stealing. Hence it is offensive armour not just defensive armour. This idea could be profession specific in affects. I.E. Bleeding for ranger, dazed for warrior, poison for necromancer, etc. This affects would have to be determined by GW2 dev team as to whether stacking or not and if multiple types could be used I.E. poison and bleeding, etc. The effeects would only be -1 or 2 on strike or hit from enemy.
- Why this is a good idea
- Increases choices of player has pracical uses, and a good offense is a good defense.
- Would added with the dual shield idea make an exerlent tank and would be very fun and useful adding more team work within Gw2
- Why it may not work out
- Makes the game too hard to balance.
