Gargoyle

Gargoyles are creatures which can be found throughout Ascalon and Kryta. Before the Searing in Ascalon, Gargoyles mainly dwelt in the Catacombs.

- Gargoyles found in Ascalon have an additional 40 armor against lightning damage. Krytan Gargoyles are similarly resistant to cold damage.
- In Guild Wars 2, they are said to have mysteriously disappeared without a trace in 1185 AE.

- Gargoyles are a kind of statue placed on building roofs in order to ward off evil and is often a name for creatures made out of stone in fictional tales.
