Pillars Of The Earth was formed in August 2008, with the majority of its members coming from another (mostly inactive) guild called Arcane Dragons of Shadow.
Recruitment
With few exceptions, Pillars Of The Earth is not actively recruiting at this time. However, if you are invited to join us you will fit into our guild best if you have completed one or more campaigns and if your primary interest is working through the player vs. environment (PVE) storylines of the game. Many of our members are working on titles or on taking secondary characters through the games. It's also helpful that you appreciate the storylines and role playing aspect of this MMORPG. Opportunities for player vs. player (PVP) forms of play do exist within our alliance and we sometimes participate.
We have few requirements for membership; mostly that you be a mature, active player and be helpful to others whenever possible. Our alliance is primarily aged 18+ players.
Promotion to an Officer position is at the discretion of the guild leader. You will need to have completed all three of the GuildWars campaigns as well as the expansion, demonstrated your helpfulness to others in the guild and the alliance, and participate in the guild forum in order to qualify for an officer position. Recruiting is not required, though if you wish to recruit, following the guild's recruiting guidelines is imperative.
